I'm Africa American and my grandmother would always make black-eyed peas with cornbread and greens 😊. She was a great cook.

I grew up on field peas in alabama, ate black eye peas, once in a while, down south we make whats called pot liquor with our peas

Back in Jamaica we never use cutting board even now I don,t use it or measured cup we use our head I would use smoked turkey neck and cocony milk not sauce scollion thyme and pepper each is own

Yes all kinds of beans right now, I will make this without the meat I am doing two days meat free and things like this with vegetables and roit would be great and Jamaica rice and peas which is better than white rice.

It looks really delicious, I’m going to try it with coconut oil, i’m staying with my daughter at the moment but I can’t wait until I move out so I can really make this because some of my grandchildren are very picky I don’t like onions, but I love them and all of the different meals that you make.
