It's true, it does pixelate slightly at times. Didn't think I would notice but I do on rare occasion. Few months of ownership later I can confidently say it's a beast in terms of battery life. 3+days with regular use? No problem. I regularly only charge to 50% and it still lasts longer than my old phone. Gets me through a long day easy.

I think it just comes down to personal preference. Yeah, you may be right, but that phone is about to be 3 years old and might start slowing down. I had an iPhone 6 and it completely crashed the other day

Oct 2014 Moto Droid Turbo still going strong, along with my 21mp 4k camera, nfc, wireless charging, 4000mah battery, 4k display, Kevlar backing, and still faster than any new iPhone. Still in the top 50 for benchmarked phones..... I choose wisely and cared for my investment. I will say owning a flagship is alot like having a hotrod, alot of maintenance lol. And that's why my daily driver just changed to the G7 power, it just makes sense period.

Last year the G6 Plus was extremely similar to the new Moto X4, so most countries either got one or the other. I guess with the G7 they're worried about cannibalizing the Moto Z3 sales or something.

So I have a LG G5 that finally started acting up SD 820 32gb 4gb ram. Wanted something cheap unlocked,cause Canadian phone carrier's are the worst to deal with. So I picked up a G7 play for $200 at Costco. SD 632 32gb and 2gb ram. It easily keeps up with my old LG g5. Camera is a little lacking,but good enough for fb posts,nobody knows the difference. No nfc but I don't use it. I'm not into playing heavily graphic games. 32gb memory is not a problem,cause I just add a 128gb sd card from phone to phone. Plastic back,ppl will say its cheap but I prefer it. I always have a case on my phone,so glass is pointless if nobody sees it. For the price,I'd never buy another flagship. To many features and storage/ram that I'd never use.

Let's be honest here... Moto G series phones are underrated. They are affordable, has a unique look (which is very beautiful in my opinion), clean stock like Android, and decent specs Is rather grab a G series Moto phone than any Xiaomi, Oppo or Vivo phones

I have on 11 cell phones in my life from LG to Samsung and some in between I've had my Motorola G7 power for about 3 weeks my resolution is 720p plus which helps the 6:32 to be even faster and it's 6:32 makes my images very sharp for 7:20 please believe me when I tell you that I am very satisfied with this phone it's just a deep G7 without 1080p

Replaced a Moto G5 plus on Black Friday with a G7. I'm very impressed with the battery life on the G7, having around 40% left at the end of the day vs. single digits on the G5 plus. Lots faster speed compared to the G5, way better/faster fingerprint sensor (like it on the back better than the front), better camera I like the added photo options, love the 64 Gig memory/4 Gig RAM, and the facial recognition works great. I'm not a prima donna constantly taking selfies so the camera isn't all that important but IMO it gets the job done quite well. I snagged the G7 for $179, normally priced $299 & couldn't be happier. After using this phone for a week I'm glad I didn't pay a grand or better for an Apple or a top of the line Samsung when this phone does everything I need it to do and it does it great!!!

I'm still using the Moto G4. It has a pretty reliable camera and had gotten me through a lot in 3 years. I've dropped it hundreds of times and has been perfect condition. It's just now starting to slow down and the battery is failing so I really want to upgrade to the G7 Power.

I have the g7 play and it's fine I love it it also feels very good and durable and the bezels aren't that big and the g7 play can record in 4k and has Android 9.0 with a VERY loud speaker and it is snappy and fast it is only $140 to this phone is a tank.

Had my G7 Power for just over a week, really pleased with it! I think I'm getting at least 20 hours battery depending on what I'm doing! Have an old Samsung X-Cover with a new battery, but barely even getting 5 hours with it at work, so it always had to be on charge in the van. This G7 Power, I don't have to charge it up from going to work in the morning until I go to bed at night. That's why I bought it. Love the features, quick load, reasonably hi res display, the chop-chop light on, the twist-twist camera on ect! Great quality phone at a penny under £140 UK. Comes with a transparent silicone case but no screen protector tho!

@@peterford9369 watching this on my g7 plus. Can confirm it has stereo speakers. Its really loud too. Also the Dolby audio is a nice addition. Mine arrived yesterday here in Australia from an eBay seller from USA. 27w fast charger, much nicer photos from the image stabilizer, and a faster CPU make the g7 plus a smarter buy.

I just bought the g7 power for $190 walk out price thats in us dollars and love it. Battery last all day with watching movies and playing Pandora. I really love that you can do double screen plus play Netflix or KZbin in a small screen at the corner of the display. Awesome phone.

My Alcatel Idol 4 from 4 years ago was 100 dollars and came standard with NFC. In the US most major retailers support GOOGLE PAY and this has saved my but countless times when I forgot my wallet. NFC receivers are not that expensive, the fact that these Moto devices still don't have it is disappointing to say the least.

I've never had a Motorola before, but I've been looking for a budget phone in place of a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus that I've been using. I'm a casual user, I mostly use my phone to browse the internet, social media, KZbin, music streaming, I need a decent camera and I do abit of eBay and online shopping. I don't need this Note 10 Plus for any of its extra features, so it feels wasted on me. I saw that the G7 Plus was on sale for £159.99 from The Carphone Warehouse, so watched a few reviews and I had to grab it. For it's original price of £300, it would have been an iffy buy. But for £159.99? Absolute bargain.

the moto e4 plus also came with the big 5000 battery, and it was water proof up to 3 meters .. when the phone was out for a while it only sold for $129 ...thanks for a great upload 👍

G7 power international version is a great phone and now $170. International power has more ram and storage than the U.S. version just like the standard G7. You still lose a small amount on camera and screen but the extra batter life and it is fast as it has a bit less to push while having the same ram. Gets my highest recommend of any phone. By far my favorite version of this phone.

Is there any way to get a review from you on the Coolpad Legacy by Wednesday at the latest? I am still trying to decide between it (for the camera & excellent price point) & the Moto G7 Plus (with it's not as good stat-wise rear camera - but really great battery). For one thing you're the only reviewer I seen who talks about CALL quality, not just the data side of a phone. And for another buying a model of a phone (or any sort of electronics for that matter) immediately after it's initial release makes me nervous since there are invariably problems that haven't been sorted out. So the more feedback I can get the better.

I used to love the Moto G series as my suggested budget phones, as I myself buy Samsung flagships. But these days I feel there are a lot of Chinese budget phones with faster processors, better cameras, and screen quality for around the same price or cheaper.

Agreed. If you're in the US, the brands like Honor, Xiaomi, Redmi, Meizu don't have the same carrier support. Moto G line can be used seamlessly with any carrier which makes it easy to jump, and very easy to sell the phone to someone else if you decide to switch. Also, Moto provides a superb UX. The other makes seem to largely mimic iPhone. 👎

In fact in my entire phone buying history I've only had 1 phone that had good loud sound quality. It was an old old at&t phone. I don't want to have to carry around a damn bluetooth speaker

Moto has crippled their US models. G7 Power in Europe is GBP179 including tax and is 4GB RAM 64GB storage with NFC. G7 Power in US is $249 without tax, and 3GB RAM 32GB storage and no NFC. G7 Plus not even available in the US. And the standard G7 is missing many of the bands needed for full use of AT&T and T-Mobile. And yet their PR people claim this is what the US market wants.
