Why is it that motorcyclist become the rule police when riding? nobody forced you to buy a motorcycle and ride, you made that choice on your own, but yet they insist they can dictate how everyone else drives.

It's not about dictating how others drive, it's about road safety. Motorcyclists are extremely vulnerable to the poor decisions and actions of other road users and so many feel they have to act when they see another road user endangering others through thoughtless actions. As a former driving instructor I used to tell my pupils that the only safe place for a mobile phone was switched off and in the glove compartment, I also used to reccomend that as soon as possible after passing their test they went on advanced driving courses. Here in the UK you can (as long as you have the money) step from a learner car to a Ferrari and drive for 50+ years without any further training and yet Bike licenses have a progression, as you get older you can get progressively more powerful bikes.

You can be distracted by anything, talking to passengers, a Child or Pet in the Car, something interesting in a field etc etc. Driving without due care and attention is a different subject. The Biker at the time I pointed out in the video was complaining about using the phone, while stationary. The Phone was not being held in the drivers hand, therefore it was not against the Law
