if you watch at 4:04 you can see it fall from that little black circle right above the exhaust the with the baffle test in, then it falls and flies out when he tests without the baffle

look extra close and it has come off at the bolt that holds the carbon bracket to the silver bracket, on top of the muffler

I agree with you, it sounds way better without the db killer. It really seems to let more bass through and even the exhaust tone out. With the DB killer it seemed like it was much higher pitched and kind of tin can like if that makes sense. Sounds amazing.

I know I'm probably in the minority but I actually like the sound better with the baffle in. Less obnoxious at idle and midrange, but still sounds great when you hit the high rpms. I'd also worry about cruising drone with the baffle out. Not a problem if you only go for relatively short rides in and around town and the lake, but sitting on the highway for hours with that no-baffle drone can drive a person insane. I guess it's easy enough to just put the baffle back in for longer rides.

I think the idle is better with the db killer out but tbh if I rode it a lot (like my bike) I kept the db killer in because sometimes cruising it just gets really annoying and I think it sounds more refined with the db killer in.

Sad part is people don't understand that those full headers back exhaust are tuned with a baffle and are for a reason you can actually loose power and cause a lean out without a tuner of some sort but BUT I WILL SAY THEY DO SOUND BETTER WITHOUT IT!

It does sound a million times better. IDK if your experience is the same as mine - I had a 2012 with a stock header, cat-delete/mid-pipe, and the GYTR silencer and it was cop attractant. I ended up putting the stock silencer on that setup and it was gnarly enough to sound cool but the volume was low and didn't blast my ears. Best of all - cops didn't notice it anymore.

Sounds way better with out the dB killer. But you should get a power camander, sounds like it bogs a bit at lower revs because the flow is no longer restricted.
