Thanks, it's a pitty we can't record the smell as well with videos 😅😅😅 It's a shame the gopro didn't pick up all the smoke cos there was a real haze as they were leaving the start line. Cheers.

Hey O-n-G, great to see you again! Doug here from America 🇺🇸🏍️, I'm one step closer to obtaining the 1981 Honda cb650 motorcycle with only 31K miles on the clock! As soon as I get my hands on it & refurbished, it's been stored in the dessert SW here in America for the past 21 years. Will need to get new parts for it before I can legally put it on the road. Again, very nostalgic. Oh yes, the smell of carol R. I too remember watching the old racers such as Derrick Minter, Phil Reed, Camathius, Max Duebel and many others. I’m very fortunate to live only a short ride away from Mallory Park racing circuit. They also have many vintage sessions there and also mid-week bike meets, attended mainly by old codgers like myself. So, yes please, more “ramblings”.

What a fantastic day out this was, fully compensated for, by the rain that started the day off. The joy of it all was noticeable in your voice, even though the commentary was made some time after the event. I'm sure Britain has the biggest and best display and number of Classics and Classic Events, for all types of Classic Vehicles in Europe..., the big question for me is, shall I move back to UK? Do I enjoy this sort of Hobby/Passion enough, or are your uploads enough to still my desires!. Well i've got the whole weekend to mull on this question, before discussing it with family at the next family gathering. I wish you would stop making my life so difficult with all these fantastic uploads of yours!! Thanks once again for a Fab video, Steve.

Hi Steve, thanks for watching my rambles and I'm so glad you enjoy them. This certainly was a great day out which I thoroughly enjoyed and we do have a very active classic/vintage vehicle scene in the UK which is great. However, on its own it's probably not a reason to move here, there are a lot of negatives to consider before taking that step. Sorry if my videos are like a temptation to you but there will be more to come I'm afraid 😂😂😂 Cheers.

Brilliant! The roads were a tad busier for the BSB races August Bank Hol, lol. Will have to keep an eye out for the dates next year, looks a great day out.

I haven't been to a race meeting in over 40 years, too busy and too far away from the circuits. It was good to hear the old bikes rumbling around, I'll never forget the sound of triples being thrashed around Mallory Park by Hailwood, Cooper and Smart in the early 1970s. Thanks old-n-Goldie.

Not been to Caddie for many many years but the place is looking good, it was always a bit run down when I used to go. Strange not many bikes there, used to be masses of bikes & very few cars. How do yo find Goldie after riding Harold for a spell?

Yes, it had changed so much since I last went, I seem to remember wooden huts and gravel tracks. Poor turnout of people on bikes which surprised me. Goldie and Harold are like chalk and cheese but both thoroughly enjoyable. Plus, Harold is not quite run in yet so still to reach his full potential. Cheers.
