You've said it all for me Nige, I'm the same , I still enjoy it , but the body won't take the hammering the off road tracks dish out. You have to hand it to her, She's packed what would have been a life time of riding experiences, into a few short years. When you can hardly afford to fill up the tank in our older years, Watching Norely is the next best thing. I reckon I can jovially predict (possibly lol) her next venture ! A double venture through OZ & NZ. Go for it you Dutch beauty. & Yeah, what nige says... Thankyou.

@dudeonbike800 Жыл бұрын
And the irony is that she's visiting all these disappearing glaciers with the aid of petroleum and an ICE. That said, if only tourists on motorcycles were burning gas in the world, we'd not have any sort of problem, so we can actually accommodate this sort of thing. If only we could apply sensible and responsible energy consumption to free up the gas needed for stuff like this. Jay Leno argues that the electric car will be the SAVIOR of the traditional ICE sports car. All those "purists" out there casting their aspersions at electric cars really do have it backwards. Get everyone commuting in renewable energy electric cars and we'll be able to "afford" burning the little bit of gas for the enthusiasts. Like I could say, I daily commute under my own power, so when I want to work on my heel-toe technique in the 911, I've earned a little carbon credit! I kinda like that approach!

@@dudeonbike800 where should the additional batteries, equipment, vehicles go for disposal when out of service - is cradle to grave disposal more fair to apply to manufacturers or to the consumer? I'm glad you didn't do a big "Welcome to Alaska!" because that would mean this season is much closer to ending...and that makes me a little sad. This has been such a big trip:)

Sad - EXACTLY. These last ones in BC have been poignant with that understanding that "Alaska is next"... and after that... sniffle sniffle. Well, I joined her in Africa and I can travel back in her time to see earlier ones. I wonder if I'll be AS amazed? I suspect so.

This was a top notch video. Loved the drone flying, the drops, the stationery and the up we go again. Amazing everything, the glaciers, the colors, the locals, the asking if you are still allowed to drive after getting hyderized, tha dare to enter the tunnel, the whispered Good morning internet 😀, the small welcome to Alaska, the joyous chuckles and laughter, we enjoyed all of it and more. The whole dashboard of Alaska, the music, the bear sighting , the lessons in different types of mining gold or diamonds and most of all the commentary that makes us feel we are there with you. Thank you for all of this and more not mentioned.

Watching this video 4 days after hurricane Ian devastated my city here in Florida...feels like nothing happened and I don't have to get up tomorrow and clean up the big mess all around my house...I'm riding high in Canada right now thanks to you Noraly !

Wow Noraly, more than a thumbs up, would love to give you an Academy Award for best travel documentary! If it doesn't happen now, it WILL happen later! Amazing cinematography, stunning Salomon Glacier footage, especially with the drone. And being a rider myself, you get extra thumbs up for not launching yourself of the cliff while gazing at the amazing deep blues of the glacier (for those non-riders, you normally ride exactly where you look! But Noraly has mastered gaziing at beautiful scenery to the side and yet still moving forward safely on a road.) BRAVO on every level!

Congratulations! No matter what happens, you made it to Alaska! What an episode: Entered Alaska, traveled along a massive glacier, visited a gold mine, got to record a bear, and got Hyderized, all in one episode. I still love your videos and your drone work is just great. Been watching your visit to the indigonous settlements, fun but also maybe even more ancient than the people realize. I grew up near the ocean. its where I saw all the tide pool life, which has later been valuable for identifying fossils. There are precambrian jellyfish fossils, so your jellyfish encounters reflect very ancient biology.

Noraly, you definitively should have been an astronaut! Your adventurous spirit and curiosity is spot on! It literally looked like you drove us to another planet via motorcycle. The views of the glacier was surreal, landscapes were amazing and the ride was out of this world! 😀 Loved it! Thank you so much for showing us how much is out there to explore and admire.

Oh wow, what a heart thumper site to behold. Salmon Glacier that close has got to be one of your top experiences. I know it was for me, to see it they your lens. There are not enough words to describe this video. You have more than outdone yourself. Having a drone view is just so awesome! Bravo Noraly, what a brave one you are to get Hyderized on 151 !!! Loved the video!

Got Hyderized a few decades ago. Seem to recall that there was a toe in that drink as well. Was not aware of the Salmon Glacier. Even if I did I probably would not have attempted the gravel on my Fatboy. Times have changed if I survive my heart surgery in a couple of weeks I’ll go there next summer on my GSA. Thanks so for showing me what I missed so I can go back and see for myself.

@@thomascragg783 Actually the toe you are thinking of is in Dawson City, Yukon, Canada -The Sourtoe Cocktail. Good luck with your surgery! Hope the healing goes very well.

The drone shot of the Glacier is just absolutely stunning! Having studied Geology and Geography here in the US, everything that you've shown and explained brought back a lot of very good memories.

I'm so happy that you were able to ride to see the Salmon Glacier. When I rode to Alaska last June, we couldn't see the glacier due to the extreme amount of snow. Thank you so much for allowing me to finally see it. Awesome video!

This is so fun, I can see my motorhome in your video, which a subscriber sent me. I have been seeing so many comments this northern season on my channel, from folks recommending your channel. I am excited to watch this episode, and I hope you're enjoying the north. Welcome to my home province! And a sliver of Alaska. lol.
