@@RAFAEL199O Toyota has some major issues too with certain years/makes. Of course Toyota still tops the charts for reliability though. It's unfortunate that Toyota's only recently gotten comfortable with its interior ergonomics. I don't see me being able to afford new anytime soon. Ford had this comfortability for taller individuals like myself down pat back in 2006.

Looks great but they lost me at a turbo charged engine. They will never last like their non-turbo charged engine. Looks great though

Blame the EPA/ government. They’re also the reason why you don’t see many new sedans anymore.

I think it might ease people's minds about reliability but... I think either it's reliable or not in a toyota with a turbo is probably going to be solid. We'll see!

You know something this show on the PBS channel been around when the only other choice for auto industry insider info was a magazine. What I'm not understanding is why Motor Week doesn't use their voice & opinion to say c'mon these 4cyl engines are giving a false sense of reliability & fuel economy in particular the turbo variants i know from experience the most reliable domestic 2.4 4cyl turbo or natural aspirated built by mistibushi this was in the mid to late 1980's Keep the 3.5 V6 for the people who faithfully swore by Toyota motor weak not allowed to drive a car

The war you want to fight is already over. It's going to be turbo fours and hybrids for the next couple of decades. And then it's gonna be electric only.

Will it be sold outside North America? If so, as 4Runner, Land Cruiser Sport, or simply Land Cruiser for markets such as Latin America i.e. Brazil, Europe i.e. Britain and Ireland, and some Southeast Asian countries that sell neither the Prado nor the big-ass Land Cruiser no longer sold stateside except as the Lexus LX? That means the odd-looking and oddly-named Hilux-based Fortuner/SW4 will face the axe for good.

I do like the exterior, its not too crazy but gives it that off-road appeal, both in TRD and the more street oriented trim levels. I'm not a fan of that huge iPad looking screen, if it was a little smaller, it would defeintily be a little less intrusive.
@Motorweek

The larger 14-inch screen is optional. A smaller 8-inch screen standard on lower trims.
