Mould on the Bathroom Walls

Last April, my landlord replaced the rotten single-glazed windows around my flat with uPVC doublel-glazed units. Since then, I've noticed an increase in mould growth and damp patches around the cold exterior walls in my unheated bathroom.
Will the Unibond Aero 360 help to reduce these condensation issues?
All opinions welcome in the comments section. :-)

Hiya matey. Sad to hear your having damp/mould problems but, it is down to your landlord to sort it out under the health and safety for tenants. The room need better ventilation with a breather brick or an expellair or other type fan through wall. These are cheap enough and work well. My landlord hated me when I told him he had to spend money but, I had the CAB and council on my side. He ended up sticking eave vents which, did cut the mould down but not out. .... we got a council place not to long ago and had a new bathroom fitted with all the mod cons.....an open window does not cure damp...

hello olly. first of all the best way to get rid of the existing mold on your walls is use a mixture of 50/50 bleach and water in a spray bottle and soak everything down lightly and leave alone. with what i see is you have no air movenent in your bathroom therefore condensation will build up on your walls and create mold. you have to have some kind of exhaust fan on your ceiling to draw the steam and moisture out of your bathroom. i know you have a window there but would need to have a window ir door open in your main room outside the bathroom to draw air though your window in the bathroom. if this is not the case then get a oscillating fan in your bathroom and open your window slightly and leave your fan run till everything is dried off. in the united states we are required to have exhaust fans in all bathrooms per buildind codes. also if that mold is coming back quickly after you have done the fan part then you may have to extensive research on your walls as the mold may be behind the wall which will happen if this has been an on going issue. then you will need to tear out the sheetrock spray with bleach and reinstall waterproof sheetrock and tape and texture and paint again. lets hope its not the case. i have seen this happen many times when people don't take care of their moisture problems. its also very common in homes with basements that are damp and mold will build up due to no air movement. good luck and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

whitewolf8758 Hi! Thanks for watching and for your comment. There is an extractor fan above the toilet that I didn't highlight in this video... It works but is the wrong side of the window to any chance of removing warm moisture from the shower. I've always found this problem is at its worst after running the shower. I agree with and understand what you say regarding the need for an airflow and exchange of air. Again, this is something too many people do not understand. For now until the winter, I'll just keep the window and door ajar. My landlord is unlikely to do anything and, in fairness, I don't believe I or the local council could enforce it. Thanks again.

Sorry, I don't think I ever filmed one, sorry and I've since given up on this and have moved to a less-damp home.

You need ventilation in the room Do letting regulations enforce this ?

Probably not as everything here is electric, no gas. I'm not certain. I do have an extractor fan but it sits above the toilet and not the shower. Another thought is to get a window restrictor fitted so it can be left open slightly while preventing scum from climbing in (I'm on the ground floor).
