🇺🇸🛫 soooooo interesting 🤔 I watched it twice 🙋🏼‍♂️✌🏼 😂 after spending the past 22 years in Mexico 🇲🇽 and various other countries in central/ south America, and being 100% bilingual , the San Juan Puerto Rico SIC sounds mighty tempting with 900 TT 500 PIC hours! 🛫🛩️🇺🇸 ty 🙌

That guaranteed flow to FedEx is a great incentive.

Yes it is! We have had 8 pilots successfully flow to FedEx via the program and we have 9 pilots on staff who have passed their interview and are building time. It's a great program if you are wanting to get to FedEx.

This is probably the wrong forum to ask, but I happened to find you video in my feed. Do you offer the ability to commute to your base? The reason I ask is that I have roots that are firmly planted, so I could only move an hour or two in any direction.

If you are in the Eastern US you can be a floater pilot, which means you can commute from your home airport to whatever base we need you at each week.

Can you tell us what starting pay typically is for someone who is starting out of flight school?

Depends on the aircraft you fly, all pilot positions are salary. C208 Captain & ATR FO start out at $65K a year, C408 Captains $78K a year. Per diem on top of that.

I think they misinterpreted what was asked … if you’re fresh out of flight school with 250 hours then you should be looking in the all park of $38,000-50,000 and 50k is the max ! Flight instructors don’t make a lot , it’s mainly for building hours. Once you get to 1,500 hours then apply what the author said

Does FedEx or MAC require a bachelor degree still and are there opportunities for South West pilots (AZ, NV)

No degree required for MAC or Purple Runway, we do not have any bases out west.

How much is the pay for sky courier sic ?and how many flight hours every year ?

Starting base pay is $75K annually plus per diem for PIC and $45K annually for SIC. Some base locations have a geographic bonus of $10K annually. Pilots average around 500 hours per year. The PTO schedule is 4weeks on 1 week off.

Hi, I know this is a long shot to ask but do yall or anyone yall know of have a program where yall pay for me to get my ppl and all the other licenses id need to work for yall as a pilot where i then work for x amount of time or at reduced rate or some combination of both? I ask as I’ve always wanted to be a pilot my whole life but i cant afford the schooling for it.

Hiya Hillary, Very nice video and overview of what Mountain Air Cargo has to offer. My only suggestion to help the viewers is to give an overview of the salary for each pilot position per year & per aircraft type within the company. 😊👍🏻 Something along the lines of: Aircraft Type X @ year 1 = approx xxx, Aircraft Type Y @ year 2 = approx xxx, Aircraft Type Z @ year 5 = approx xxx, Etc. 😃

I’m 58 years old and retired, I hold a commercial instruments multi engine rating; however, but never really used the rating very much due to a transfer. I’m not concerned about salary or going to the majors I just like flying. Would a guy like me have shot a job with you guys?
