The strikers punished Canada without remorse. 1.6 billion dollar economy destruction. Why are they having so much power over us. They need to be accountable for this crime. Laws must be in place to protect Canadians from this hostage criminal act in the future.

@@cw9282 make it go private. Get rid of the union. It’s pretty simple really. We are in a capitalist society even though Canada is very socialist. But you need capitalism in n order to have socialism. I’d love to get paid more when it’s colder outside but that’s never gonna happen so at some point they have to suck it up. Everyone is fighting the same wage battle. Private sector or unionized. It’s just sad that Canadians services can be held hostage by these unions if the employees don’t like something. I mean I don’t like lots of the things I have to do but I do it to feed my family. Suck it up princess!

​@islandtime5074 They don't. And they are often injured, especially during winter. Delivering mail can be brutal, and they often have to deliver more than they should (under staffing).
