Mouth Breathing While You Speak

I always struggle to breath through my nose since its quite small and gets blocked easily, however, i just can't stand listening to my breaths inbetween sentences when I record. So im really going to try to fix it..

Shouldn't it be ok to mouth breathe when you talk just make sure that you are keeping the tongue on the roof of the mouth the vast majority (70%+) of the time? I know sometimes when I speak I try to encourage people to "butt in" so I can nasal breathe during that transition.
