88 Points wouldve been a Meta comment.😂🙊 TBH I prefered the book especially in the begining when he discovers current day Germany and his inner monologues in using the type of german spoken the way it was spoken back than is just eye watering hilarious. I'll always remember seeing my grandmother reading that book and collapsing with laughter at those passages and she was an adolescent in WW2, so something deep down must've been touched! Keep up your great work. Cool Videos.

What I find quite interesting is that you said, when you read the book in Swedish, it didn't work for you, because "Hitler speaking Swedish" just doesn't work. But if you read the book in German, that "obstacle" is gone, and in fact apparently in the German edition of the book, Hitler uses the same kind of "heroic propaganda language" that was used in the 1930s and 40s. Anyway, I have not read the book myself yet (still on my "to-do list" perhaps for the coming Christmas vacation), but my sister and a few friends of mine already did, and they all agree: "forget the movie -- the book is way better!" So curiously they came to the opposite of your conclusion?! I wonder, could the fact that you read it in Swedish be the reason for that?

i wouldn't rule out that being the case but it didn't stop there It was simply how it was structured movie vs book that made me think the movie was better but like i said i could be wrong
