Franck you really should consider upgrading the Engine and Transmission to something stronger. Maybe even Diesel and an Allison Automatic Transmission or something stronger. The RV is extremely underpowered with that trailer on the back. Maybe turn off the overdrive will help some, there is usually a button on the shifter or on the dash to turn the overdrive off...other than that...i really love what your doing i like seeing that RV getting used like it was always meant to, I can't wait to see what happens next.

Yup! Update when you can. I remember when the RV was at the shitty RV shop, we'd have months and months in between updates, and it was to tell us that nothing was happening! So these past 15 or so updates have been awesome.

Banana CreamPie Aluminum piping like fence post over the pvc piping. Use aluminum or light gauge steel to replace the cracked wood and piping around the windows and roof.

Luzian Hass a dt466 with 250 hp would generate more than enough torque to move the entire rv at and above highway speeds.

I think the engine isn't bad, but the transmission... But you need to remember that the RV is running and it is a show car, the owner is doing it all alone and don't even live in the US, so all he did to reach this point is REALLY ADMIRABLE, all the money he spent himself and the time flying to the US and trying to get things done, I respect him and the RV is awesome, I think there is no need for now to change the engine and transmission if it working, he has other priorities... I don't think its in the transmission, the transmission isn't slipping, it just doesn't have torque. It would probably be ok with standard tires and no trailer behind it, but the extra weight and tire diameter is dragging it down. Honestly if plans on driving it around he needs to get more torque, either by having someone work on the engine in it, or replacing the engine. Edit, I mean its already a big motor, have a tuner go in, replace the rods, and cams, rings and crank slop, turbo, bam,. Should have enough to do what ever you want.

@@webduelist he said before that the trans was slipping, maybe a Gearstar trans will fix it, I don't know what trans goes in this, or engine, so maybe a 4l60e, or a 4l80e

well it might be slipping, but when they got stuck on the hill it had more to do with not enough power. well we can find out, this is a fleetwood RV after all. its a 96 - 97 fleetwood storm. since its a Gas that means its a V8 or V10, Based on Dash and Wheel we can assume this is the Ford version. Im going to say its proabley either a 4R100 or 4R70W

a simple pick-up truck cummins swap with a decent transmission would be pretty cheap and fix all the driving troubles, that drivetrain is not going to last long with all that weight to pull around!

Anyway, it's very nice to see the RV back running again and not rotting away in the desert... Well done. A suggestion - how about placing a 3d printing of a big T-rex head with an open mouth or a still of that scene of the movie in the RV (if allowed) on that back door that is flat? And a curiosity - the middle of your eyebrows are naturally up like that or do you brush them??? By the way, the little guy on the dashboard is cute...
