I wish Stephanie Beaton was on "Baywatch Nights" season 2. She could have sold the slimy rubber monsters and the "dreadful terror" they inflict so well with her wide-eyed shock and confusion. Come to think of it, she should have been on regular "Baywatch", too. Can you imagine her trying to save a drowning victim while trying not to "fall" out of her bathing suit? Or her acting in one of the "PTSD for a day" episodes? How about a "Lutz and Garner" spinoff series with Gregalan? "Lutz and Garner", get it? Hurr-hurr! Shut up, it's funny!!!

Germans and their strange love for books baaed on some obscure TV shows. It's the proto-fanfiction. You should see the concerts of Hasselhoff he gives in Germany up until the beginning of Covid. Elderly women totally going bonkers. Considering myself going to a concert one day to have him sign my Baywatch Nights complete boxset on 12 DVDs. I'm deep into this cheesefactory with a rare feeling of satisfaction. Great ep! I'm gonna risk taking Baywatch Nights seriously. I think the problem is the premise. I just don't understand why lifeguards are now paranormal investigators. And that effects every script,because our protagonists just have no reason to be there. Like,maybe Mitch was Naval Intelligence before retiring to lifeguard. He encounters mermaids during that prior career,who pull him back in after a regime change. So Baywatch Nights is old sailors hanging with merfolk. And Ryan is a mermaid princess.
