Moving heavy stuff on your own for DIY guys or galls

As a DIY guy, you often work on your own and you want to get on... and then you have to move a 70Kg washing machine down or up a staircase. oeps..... not easy . Here is how I do it

Wrapped the sliding sides of my appliances in old carpet, secured with duct tape. Smooth easy control decent no scratches, felt safe. Thanks for this idea!

For safety i recommend a rope and a climbing descender, and always stay abov the heavy object. if u loose control or fall during the descend u could be smashed by the washing machine!!!

Where I can find a ramp to put on my door step. When I am pulling heavy cart from grocery store, I approach the door, I have to unload the beach cart, and then pulls up the cart over the stepdoor, I wonder how the ramp stays put, when you sliding the cart into the living room, example: a portable washer machine on a flat dolly, how to lift to go up on the step. I live on the ground, it's just the step door. I have problem on my hands can't lift too much weight, I use most the carts to help, but when there a stepdoor to bring a heavy stuff inside.

I got a small CNC machine table in a tiny workshop that weighs at least 300 if attached to the table. Just sayin. Got to drag it up 3 stairs. Could dissasemble and walk it out with a lever.

Never will I be going UP stairs again. I Love this method, but how do I do it when I cant drill holes in the floor?

Drill a hole in the lower step, and attach some rope to the lower end of the wood.
