3:26 What a cute house! ☺😊 I visited downtown today. It only restriegened (can't spell today apparently) my wish to live in Orlando again.

I live in downtown Orlando and it’s beautiful

How bad is it with the tourist and growing population. I'm considering moving downtown end of next year. I was thinking about Daytona first but I need to be in growing economy. I lived in Miami, W Palm Beach and NYC. Is it fast enough to some degree to have that NY feel? I would never live back in Miami, Palm Beach is for the elderly. I love NYC but too expensive. Orlando seem like a good fit.

@@deewoods9678 you won’t be disappointed. But it is nowhere near NYC’s pace

@@deewoods9678 Downtown Orlando is nowhere near the tourist areas. Disney is in Kissimmee and Universal is by Conroy road.

@@BlitzOfTheReich thanks. After going to Orlando a few times and knowing what I know now I decided to stay put. I'll pass for now. I'll visit all day though. Lol

Great video Ken. The downtown area has always intrigued me but I never was that familiar with the area. Thanks for the video and the education. We appreciate the great content. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day!

Another great vid, Ken. My wife & i were seeing the modern high rise listings in 3-4 new buildings around Lake Eola (one was touted as the highest floor residence in central Florida) and wondering if it’d be like an ivory tower...great once you’re “home”, but you’re not going to walk around the lake area at night. Can that immediate area be like that for safety? Btw, Thornton Park area looks like a gem! Thank you.
@kenpozek4 жыл бұрын
Checking out the city stats on safety is a good start. That said, I walk around the lake at night taking photos (for my hobby) and always feel safe

How about Davenport, Haines City and Winter Haven area’s.

Davenport and Haines City is not worth it. Nothing about them stands out.
@christophera.turner33944 жыл бұрын
@@greenapple9477 first of all thanks for replying, I am from New York and reside in the area but I must say that the City of Winter Haven has a plethora of amenities to offer such as Legoland, restaurants ( franchises and mom and pops) retail shopping(big box and local), the chain of Lakes system , water shows ( Cyoress Garden water skiers),waterfront residence,fishing,hiking trails,a regional airport and Bok Tower nearby stands as just a few beautiful go to’s that exemplifies the area. Also the home prices are far less expensive then any other area around right now. I believe this area is worth a peek on the show as a go to area.

But. Thornton Park is essentially downtown's bedroom community. They're thisclose. You can literally just stroll right into downtown or access the free downtown Lymmo bus, no big deal. College Park is two miles away on the other side of three lakes and I-4. You aren't strolling anywhere, much less into downtown. And if you're moving downtown because it's the region's public transit hub, all you have in College Park is one, single, every-half-hour bus to Lynx Central Station. It's a good neighborhood, but even with a car, it is NOT downtown.
