Arnold is probably the best reason to watch this film. It shows just how great an actor he really is because he can go from menacing to sympathetic and still feels like different sides of the same character. It's kinda sad because it shows what this movie could easily have been.

What exactly is wrong with this movie? Just because it was lighter doesn’t mean it was bad. Not everyone wants to watch a violent movie with people dying and jump scares. This is a Batman film you can watch with the family. People just want the film to suit the way they want and not target it’s target audience which in this case are younger viewers. I remember this film being extremely popular and people enjoyed it as much as Batman Forever and the other films before it

If you ask me, it would’ve been an excellent casting choice. This is the guy who played the fucking Terminator. Playing a character like Mr. Freeze isn’t too far off from that. But instead, he was way too over the top and made puns. Let’s get something straight. Mr. Freeze should not try to be funny. ESPECIALLY considering that they went with the “my wife was in an accident and I need to save her” backstory, rather than the original origin where he was a thief in a snow suit that stole money because he was greedy. The original origin might’ve worked with this interpretation. But once you add Nora into the picture, you pretty much have to go the “cold, cruel, unfeeling” route that Arnold Schwarzenegger would’ve been perfect for.

'Batman and Robin's opening is incredible: In less than five minutes we get: 1. Rubber bodysuits with massive copdieces, Batbutts, and Batnipples. 2. A really sweet car with pointless-but-cool lights and jet engines. 3. Confirmation that Superman exists in this universe. 4. A box that has Robin's logo in neon lights on the inside for some reason. 5. A ridiculously long hallway with metal frames (where did Bruce find the contractors to make those? And how did they not figure out they were working for Batman?) 6. Arnold Schwarzenegger in a really cool suit of armor. 7. An ice gun that freeze people solid. 8. Ice puns galore. 9. Robin's motorcycle leaves a Robin-logo cutout on the wall after he bursts through it (?!) 10. Ridiculous henchmen on ice skates with hockey blade axes and skull shoulder-pads. No other superhero movie crams so much craziness into so short a timeframe. It's awesome!

Good things about this film Elliot Goldenthal's amazing musical score Batman & Mr Freeze's final scene where Mr Freeze redeems himself Batman's talk with Alfred when he tells him he loves him. The production design of Gotham looks kinda cool And yeah that's about it...

When I was a kid, I thought Batman saying the Superman line was Awesome. Because even I knew as a kid about the expanded universe and Superman was apart of Batman's universe. So why everyone crapped on it I had no idea. Let alone now we have Justice League and everyone is all for Batman and Superman together.
