I started off Secondary school hating english. I was never that passionate about it and preferred all the other subjects over it. Honestly this is really going to help also today's literature exam where I do macbeth it was really good I talked about how macbeth fears banquos ghost, being manipulated, being crowned and after murdering Duncan the unseen poetry was also alright where we write about a man who protects his son and the other text about a man wanting to cut down trees but stops once he sees the nest thank you and Allah hafiz

@@Xarishher for the crowning, ‘fruitless crown’ because he doesn’t have any heir, and Banquo has many (I think) Manipulation - Lady Macbeth and her ‘unsex me here from crown to toe, and fill me direst cruelty’ which leads her to pretty much violate Macbeth, being questioned about his manlihood, and then he decides that he will do the killing of Duncan, to become more manly.

I like the tip about using the statement to help guide your planning for each paragraph. However, even if you can get a grade 8/9 without a headline and strapline, I don't see the point in taking that risk. I would 100% include a headline and strapline as they help to enhance your response.

I agree. I wouldn't spend ages thinking of a headline. Leave a few lines and start your article and write a headline once you've finished if you've got time.

For the lit today: I talked about the stars hide your your fires quote as Macbeth has a fear of God being the representation of light which is seen as dramatic irony which was a main convention of greek mythological plays which inspired Shakespeare to write his ideas about Macbeth; mirroring his downfall as Macbeth states "out out brief candle" which conveys his isolation from God and his shame and fear of God

We need to include one of these words to zoom and explain our answer in question 3&4 for language paper 1 to make the examiner more interested to read but also gain marks.

I did this one for my mocks. I wrote an introduction setting my opinion on the statement-the hypocrisy of many and how acting on words is easier said than done. Then one paragraph on battery farming, one paragraph on zoos and finally a paragraph on keeping wild animals as pets. I just used statements I thought sounded convincing and used language techniques and anecdotes to make it more engaging. Then to make it structured I used subheadings above each paragraph and a strapline. Hope this helps :)

I'd say that you can take it with a pinch of salt. Instead of absolutely agreeing to it, and taking all the points from the question, you can absolutely disagree with it, and still take all the points from the question. For this one I might say the following: P1 - Describe how cruel it is to keep animals in a zoo (inhumane, not free to roam) P2 - Eating meat isn't that bad (religion, nutrition, survival of the fittest) P3 - Keeping pets is good for mental health (good companions, can give unwell animals a great home) P4 - Animals should be kept free unless they are for direct human benefit Idk, that's just how I'd go about it. You can be abstract because it is your own opinion and they can't mark you down for it, however be sure to just directly respond to each of the points in the question and you should be fine.
