If we are seeing the old stars which emitted light so many light years ago, then how are we seeing the same stars every day? I mean the same constellation is there for millions of years. For example betelgeuse is 642.5 light years far away from earth. researchers found betelgeuse is dying. if we see the supernova of betelgeuse right now that means it happened 642.5 years ago.its the time supernova's light takes to reach earth.
