Today I talk about gimmick tours, the bad, the good, and even custom making a few tour lineups on my own! I’ve been making a lot of videos talking about things I love lately, but now it’s time to do what I’m best at: being a hater

Proscriptor from Absu literally can't avoid talking like that even in his emails to bandmates. The Sephiroth comparison is so perfect. Can't believe I've never heard it before. That way of talking in non-apology statements is so ubiquitous it would almost be harder to rule somebody out than to rule them in. So many ways of revealing that they take the trappings of their genre way too seriously, talking so much about no expression or behavior being too out there while still somehow magically stepping around any behavior or expression which might turn off far-right chodes or tedious edgelords.

Touring musician/former roadie here. This video is just... mostly accurate. That joke about the 5FDP tour earned an immediate subscription because it's hilarious and also just factually true. Didn't know that about Aiden, but I did witness their creep singer getting splatted directly in the face by a beer-soaked bag of popcorn thrown from the mosh pit back in 2006! (Mesa, Arizona; everybody was there to watch HIM, Aiden went onstage and sucked.) I also saw Falling In Reverse live (because they were opening for a good band!) and I have some allegations against Ronnie Radke. I allege that I witnessed with my own five senses, Ronnie Radke, Mr. Ronald Poopenfarten Radke, get up on stage in front of an audience... and play a really bad sounding set. He then stomped off the stage whining for reasons unknown. Big tough man, y'all! Hugely disappointing to hear about Alice Cooper, though. Like, I get it that he's an old man and "from a different time," but still, he shouldn't say that type of shit, online or in real life, because it's ignorant, prejudiced, cruel, and embarrassing. He's a childhood "hero" of mine who's done a lot of good work for the homeless, so it breaks my heart to hear him say transphobic bullshit. (If it's any consolation, Alice Cooper absolutely despises Trump, but not for the reasons most people do, but because Trump [allegedly] cheats at golf and is [allegedly] rude to golf course staff members.
