I don't know if you picked up on it but Robo's theme is eerily similar to Rick Astley's 1987 hit "Never Gonna Give You Up." Commonly used in the Rick Roll troll meme. However, funnily enough the actual composer of Robo's theme claims to have never heard the song before and based Robo's theme off the of the 1993 J-pop dance song "EZ Do Dance" by TFR. All three have a very common bassline used in the 80s whichis supposedly why all three have a similar rhythm and beat.

The Berserker Ring is an interesting item in that it's super good in a couple of areas on certain characters, but worse than useless and actually a net negative at other times. And, yes, this game has some of the best combat as far as 90s JRPGs in that you have to use the right skills at the right\ times or killing certain enemies becomes much more difficult or actually impossible. As the note for the Dragon Tank said, sometimes some lunatic just running up and slashing away with a sword again and again is the exact right thing to do....and other times it will basically do nothing.

Yeah I'm going to just leave that item off for now. The boss fights so far have been real fun and engaging.

In terms of items, what I feel from the game is that a lot are niche and can be useful in sometimes only a single place but you'll still want it for that single instance lol

@@MrMilesTVYou can bet they will market all of his unpublished work. I heard that he drew all the DB characters when they were kids because that was the story he wanted to continue. That being said, it's well known he didn't like how the anime portrayed Goku and the evolution of the series. Be thankful you already bought Chrono Trigger because sometimes there is a price increase or the digital copy becomes unavailable for some reason when something like this happens.

Robo is pretty much the single best party member in terms of viability. While Robo only has weak (Shadow) magic attack and weak magic defense, Robo is still quite tanky and packs good damage. For the next part, make sure you have Crono, Marle, and Lucca out because you'll see why. Also, how often do you see a turn-based RPG with a time travel plot where you have to travel through different points in time to save the future?

@MrMilesTV Fun Fact: During that scene where the R-series beat down Robo, you can actually move around, but if you try to get any closer to them, you'll be knocked back and Robo will tell you that they are his friends/brothers.

@@MrMilesTV Oh, and also, if you find a shopkeeper selling a sword that ups Crono's magic attack, you may want to buy it for a short period of time.
