The saddest part is that 63 cars started and they only showed coverage on about 8 of them. A lot of guys worked just as hard as the winners, and often more so being they didn't have any corporate help like Shelby, and yet they got no coverage.

The technology wasn't as sophisticated as it is today but there's something that's more compelling, at least to me, about human beings who have to overcome the limitations of the machines instead of piloting today's precision engineered race cars.
