I know they've now recast, but I just love so much that they reopened with the two kids who were cast originally, it would have been so easy to say "sorry, you grew up over the shut down, you're too old to play these parts" and they chose to keep the kids who had worked so hard to originate the roles and give them a chance to play their characters properly before reverting back to the younger look. It's nice to see that loyalty in when it isn't expected.

show is actually mostly the same. The touring cast has a very similar cast as the broadway. Kids are recast due to child laws and touring companies are even more different then broadway residency.

@soocool78 YOU are actually very wrong. The 2023-24 tour is completely different from the 2019-20 cast. Only the guy who plays Mrs Doubtfire is the same .

@drulipabs THE two youngest kids kept their jobs from 2019-22. The oldest daughter played by Mallory Bechtel only lasted 2019-20 and didn’t return after the covid shutdown .

Saw the show last weekend and loved it. Music was fantastic, can’t wait for the cast album. Rob McClure is truly working his ass off for this show and it’s a sight to behold.
