So, LotR battle game has been around since around 2001 or 2002. I picked up the very first box set about that time on my way to Korea. It was out before the second movie even hit theaters (first box was a handful of men, elves from the prologue battle; and a horde of goblins from Moria... Yeah, but it was cool regardless). I'd have never gotten into any other GW game without it. My sons just picked up the game, and the mass army game War of the Ring (which was sitting on my shelf for years collecting dust). Fortunately, I have a resin 3D printer. Because I'm not worried. I gave up on GW long ago in favor of papercraft vehicles, aftermarket, or 3D printed miniatures.

Its been there MO for a good two decades now. Thing is you dont have to buy the new stuff. Got your army? Built it the same as your friends? Boom keep playing

I might be one of the aforementioned "hobbitheads". I loved (still do) the movies. Even I have to acknowledge that the LOTR trilogy is objectively and subjectively better. Ill binge either at the drop of the hat, but I've never heard someone genuinely pick The Hobbit over LOTR.

When the first 10 seconds of your video goes to reacting to discourse miniatures, you lose all credibility in any argument you have

@@Enigmatus23 my credibility comes from all of the games I’ve gotten to the table for over the past 12 years. Reaction videos are what I do in between sessions 😁

@@tablesaltgames ain't nothing wrong with following Discourse, she's probably one of the more entertaining GW watchers out there.
