Really excellent tutorial. I have this exact model, and it became unusable due to dust clogging, so I had to go to the extreme of disassembly and cleanout. I build normal pcs so I didn't think it would be so bad, but it was quite a challenge, and I never would have made it without your video so thank you soooo much!!! The tiny scale and fragility of the parts is very intimidating. But I got my laptop cleaned and working! I did run into a few weird problems. My keyboard did not work perfectly (some letters didn't work), but I opened it back up and reseated the cable and that fixed it. Now I'm having the problem that the laptop will not sleep when I close the lid. It has to be that I did something to mess up the lid sensor. Trying to figure that out now. Even with these problems, it was still worth it to save my treasured laptop from dust death, and know how to fix it myself in the future.

I finally fixed it by carefully reseating cables. The lid sensor is just above the battery in the middle. It was a little scary, but everything worked out well in the end.

One of the bearings on my GPU fan is buzzing and im planing on replacing the whole fan. Are the fans removable from the cooling assembly and if so, how easy/hard are they to remove?

It was okay simple but had to add a little glue to get the screws to get back into the fan housing and stay there

Very interesting video! I've got a laptop just like this one, but I accidentally broke the AUX-out port after getting my headphones tangled and pulled out. (the outer ring snapped off) It still gives out sound, but it can be difficult to get it to work properly and cuts out very easily when the jack is moved even a little bit Would you know if the audio port can be replaced by a new one? The store where I bought it, told me the AUX-port couldn't be replaced. Which I find hard to believe.

The audio jack is soldered onto the motherboard. More likely not repairable. Maybe you can go with USB audio adapter: amzn.to/3N9YU0f
