Thanks Ms. Mojo/Watch Mojo for knowing the details of the memoir while also describing how she was a victim when everyone made her out to be a villain. It’s so insane to me that all these things she did in the 90s and 2000s were so heavily scrutinized, but these days, no one bats an eye to it or never discusses it. For example, teenage girls wearing crop tops that expose their midriffs, cosmetic surgery, questioning a celebrity’s virginity, questioning a celeb’s parenting skills and a celebrity’s example to younger children/fans. She was way beyond her years and acted dignified and mature at such a young age. And don’t get me started on JT.

Maybe she's sober nowadays, I doubt she was the goody two shoes you think she was back then. There are tabloid pictures of her going to clubs and partying with Paris Hilton in mid-late 2000's... Then there's that infamous photo of her caught going commando in a short dress that was censored, so idk if it was real or not. Most western teens that age are not that innocent at all and experiment with a lot of stuff, even more so if they're a celebrity. The image they portray to the public and press is different from reality, because squeaky clean image sells more records for protective, cautious parents who don't want their children to listening to wrong influence. The fact she got pregnant at 19, tho it seems like she was talking bout waiting until marriage and the fact her sister got pregnant at 16, kinda tells you in what direction they were going or where they were at.... As someone who was sober in their teen years it's actually hard to find peers your age as a teen who stay away from alcohol, substances, or teen sx.

She could not even make her own medical decisions, couldn’t go buy herself something nice w/o permission, couldn’t even choose the color of her kitchen cabinets, she had to work her ass off to support everyone else and even pay for the lawyers her father used to keep her imprisoned. At her lowest points, during a mental breakdown about her kids being taken away, the tabloids chased the ambulance down snapping photos through the back window of her on the stretcher. She was married before she was pregnant btw. And she is not her sister. The “commando” photo was bc the paparazzi was hounding her taking photos while she got into a super low car, how is that her fault? I am glad Britney is using her memoir to speak honestly of her experiences. I am still wondering whether Britney has any royalties from performances and songs streamed to get her money back from her conservatorship. I hope people let her be. I hope people don't freak out when she posts on Instagram. She has her own life. She deserves to live it in peace. When the money comes back to her, if it hasn't already, then I will buy Britney. This book is a start. Let's hope its not a finish.

I've been listening to her memoir and I observed 2 things: 1. Angry and traumatized as she may be, she's clearly nobody's victim anymore. I thought it was surprising that she did not try to trash JT nearly as much as people do now. 2. It's bizarre that people demanded an apology from him for years and when he finally gave one they said it was not good enough. Of course not. It wasn't genuine. It wasn't for her. It was for the people who expressed more outrage than she ever did in her own memoir. Bonus: Her father is literally a monster.

One interview that isn’t very widely known is a radio interview she did the day after the release of her 2007 album, Blackout. It was Ryan Seacrest and once again he asked 1-2 questions about the album, and about 5 questions about very personal things. One of them that disgusted me was “So uh.. how often will you see your kids?” Loved her attitude though as eventually she passed the phone back to her cousin, left the room and went for a shower. That got me laughing.
