Through out my life I have not felt concern about our Democracy, Violence, Threats, Rule of Law Failing, until now in my old age. Our protection against the bully is the rule of law. Our power in the judicial system is two fold. We are the members of the jury. We are the voters who choose the representatives that write our laws. Don't give your power away to the bully. Use your voice. Use your powers. Vote. Serving on a jury is an honor and a sacred responsibility. You literally protect the innocent from a government that is incompetently exerting its role. You literally protect us all from those who see governmental rules as not applying to them. The rule of law must be applied equally to all or it is not justice. Protect the members of juries so that they can fairly apply the evidence to the rule of law and arrive at a fair judgement. Protect the people who represent the rule of law so they can honestly apply the laws as written. External influences like threats or bribes corrupt the rule the law and destroy justice.

In Fattys first year she was all over these things. She took ten days or so to show Trump Foundations using funds for only themselves. Pointed out that Republicans were putting money into states to insure state senate would be in control by them. They took over 8 state senates in 10 years. They control 30 of 50 state senates . If they can get a chance to claim voter fraud or anything to have states vote nullified. Then it would be up to senate vote for It. Pennsylvania was are blue state that was being gerrymandering. North Carolina was next in 2020. Republicans have always cried about Federal laws that Texas hates. Big government is bad. In 2020. Harris County, Houston has turned blue in last 30 years . Texas state lawmakers tried to change districts. They also had 24 hour drop boxes shut down. Everything they did was against Texas State voting rights. So they dont like feds involved in their states. Yet it ok to your states power to change laws in biggest counties to block votes. WE are 330 million. Ca. Ny. 60 million. Texas and Florida 50 million . That is 1/3 of our country's population. If you look at taxes? Texas and Florida have no state taxes. Texas is largest state in the 48. Florida has the most coastline. How does the State roads keep maintained? Bigger counties pay and cities pay for their stretch. In florida 80% of state roads are kept up and expanded by federal taxes. The avg ca. Ny. Il. Prnn. Mass. Nj. Person makes 30 40% more than Texas and florida workers. They dont Want feds involved in their business. Unless its to fund your roads or get disaster relief after hurricanes or tornados.

Have just finished reading Jeff Sharlet's "UNDERTOW".
