@@tydavis1795I can’t agree with you there. Bill’s Crow is SO rough to get through at times. His gimmick where he randomly imitates a character in a movie is just not all that funny or creative, and too many of his riffs just fall flat on their face with a consistency that I’ve never seen with Trace.

Following season 1, Dr. Larry Erhardt left on a journey of self-discovery. After 28 (real-time) years, he returned for season 13, saying his journey had "worked out real nice" for him. This is evidenced by his voice not being so high-pitched and squeaky, as he was now less "mad", although it goes back up when he gets agitated.

Just for clarification: I considered Dr. Larry's return as becoming a recurring character in season 13 (2022, Kickstarter campaign). But you can also count his return as the guest appearances in season 12 (2018, Netflix). Just one of those times when everyone can be right. 🙂

FINALLY!! I know Wade Williams did not want to authorize this movie for DVD release, because it was his fav, but now that he has passed on to the great beyond, I wonder if his estate is now open to having all the films that he owns being released on DVD / Blu-ray or streaming services.

Thank you MST3K for this episode especially. I started collecting laserdisc movies(the best of ALL video formats!) in the early 90's. Being a lover of B&W sci-fi, I had heard about Rocketship X-M and was considering ordering it...but then I saw this episode and realized just how bad it was. Not bad/funny like Plan 9, but just bad. So I saved $30, yay! P.S. I did eventually get Plan 9 though...😂

It my not be a popular opinion, but I can't stand the first season because of the Larry character. He's just patently not funny. When he voices Tom, he sounds like he jams both thumbs up his nose to do it. It may sound strange to say about a robot character, but he gave Tom no emotion or range. I firmly believe the show would not have made it past season 2 if he didn't leave.
