@@jeffumbach Neither of the titles used for this pile of bird droppings seemed to apply well for it. Maybe if they had just stuck to "The Mummy" it might have kept some people (really dumb people) guessing. I don't think Universal could have sued for breach of copyrights with such a simple title, but even then they could have called it "The Mummy: With Deadly Green Mold On Its Bandages."

This movie was originally known as "Time Walker", which was released in 1982. This isn't the first time MST3K showed an 80's B-movie under a different name. The 80's sword and sorcery movie "The Blade Master" was retitled "The Cave Dwellers" when it popped up on this show. The later is one of my favorite MST3K episodes by the way.

Actually, Sam Casey (Ben Murphy) made the alien disappear, because "the invisibility spreads outside his body." (or words to that effect, explaining why Sam's clothes were also conveniently invisible)

You can always tell by the opening credits that his was a repackaged movie for syndication. Not unlike when American International would buy foreign films and recut them for American markets. I wonder what this film's original name was?

Kevin Brophy (Pete Sharp) is from the cool, short lived show 'Lucan' about a boy raised by wolves who grows up and wants to search for his parents and becomes a fugitive for a crime he didn't commit. Lucan also has special abilities like a wolf. This episode of MST is hilarious! Thanks for the post.
