MST3K Mr B Natural

I am a huge fan of MST3K and i have finally found some of my Fav Shorts from the show. When i first saw this on TV ( Back in the Comedy Central days) i was literally it tears laughing.

In the 4th grade I wanted to play the saxophone; parents went with me to the local music store, my dad said "What's the cheapest instrument?" They bought me one pair of drum sticks and a practice pad, about 5 bucks. Well, I'm still playing drums 40 years later, no regrets

Bruce Podewell, who played Buzz, was Professor at Tulane University in New Orleans. He had been active in theater education and production, often as a director, for at least 30 years. He also occasionally played banjo professionally at various music venues around the city. Passed away from lung cancer in 2013.

According to Wikpedia, this film was the apex of Betty Luster's career - it's showing on MST3K (1991) finally, after 50 years of trying, it put her on the map (but not in the way she planned on).. Poor thing. I think she actually had talent.

Mr. B Natural as a woman reminds me a lot of the Peter pan musical plays were peter was played by a woman, which kind of made sense as you need the high-pitched voice to emulate a child singing, and most children aren't talented enough for big-scale production musicals, but here it makes no sense. Granted, she isn't a bad actor (hokey, but not terrible) and you can tell that she's having fun.
