AAARRGRGH WEDGE! WHY YOU STILL NOT WANT TO MAKE A PACT DECK! Ok, please don't hate me for ranting just now, I've been holding that in for quite a bit. I seriously do want to see what you would do with that style of play.

I did try both Mono green and Mono Red werewolf. both are fun. In green I like Silverfur Partisan with Support cards.

Very awesome mono green! I made red/green version that you posted but i agree that the mono green seems a lot more consistent even by just explaining it. I can't wait to convert it to mono green. Werewolves are my favorite! Thanks for the updated love for werewolves! Great choice for a video for sure!
@Evrybdygets18 жыл бұрын
I like shrill howler as a side deck option. in my build I run a playset of vines of the recluse to trigger partisan and combat flyers. I also run 2 nissas because although howlpack is great but imo too many clogs the hand . I also opted for westvale abbey over foundry of the consuls.

I immediately bought this without even watching the video all the way through. I love werewolves and, after watching, I cannot wait to take this to my local FNM.

I'll be honest. I was testing this version of the deck around the time his list came out. We both had a LOT of requests for werewolves I'm sure. Not surprised we both made a video xD

i prefear a red green build personally, mainly for collective defiance. That burn spell is the real deal. i also like red so i can side in more burn spells if i feel like i need them. also, i have won games with arlin kord, so i kind of still want her. also, i love the prowler. i have been testing a pair in my sidebord and they do wonders in certain match ups.

The mono green werewolf deck looks awesome, I might get the deck later on. I’m still going to run my R/G werewolf deck though. It’s the first deck I ever built and it has a lot of value to me. If I do a mono green werewolf it will be a separate deck from the R/G werewolf I have.

What about running CoCo as an upgrade to the deck? I think cutting the other 4 drop for it is worth if you already have the card
@TheManaSource8 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that totally works. I didn't include it mainly because a LOT of players are just so sick of Collected Company, and this deck ends up being rotation proof without the Foundry.
@spartan43108 жыл бұрын
man I was brewing around this deck myself, including assault formation but this list looks way better!
@chrisgallo22368 жыл бұрын
As far as the whole Prey Upon/Rabid Bite/Moonlight Hunt thing goes I've been trying this list out: Land (22) 22 Forest Creature (22) 4 Kessig Prowler (1) 4 Dusk Watch Recruiter (2) 4 Lambholt Pacifist (2) 4 Silverfur Partisan (3) 4 Shrill Howler (3) 2 Pack Gaurdian (4) Other (16) 4 Blossoming Defense (1) 2 Waxing Moon (2) 3 Rabid Bite (2) 3 Moonlight Hunt (2) 4 Howl Pack Resurgence (3) I dropped Prey Upon and added Rabid Bite because it just deals the damage and doesn't have to fight. I've actually also been thinking about going with four Rabid Bite and only two Moonlight Hunt main deck because it also triggers the Partisan. I also lowered the creature count a little and added Blossoming defense because it does so many things. It's a pump, protects the creature and triggers the Partisan all at instant speed.
@Bernergy8 жыл бұрын
Especialy because this is mono green i'd add 1 Geier reach Sanitarium for hand filtering and maybe 2 seagate wreckage for carddraw. They perform very well to fix your hand when you start to topdeck :)
@Bernergy8 жыл бұрын
and maybe 1 Mirrorpool. Copy a creature or spell is good if you have too much mana and don't know what to do late with to many lands. These 4 cards make a nice addition instead of the Foundry for me :)
@adamshorrock51628 жыл бұрын
I've been playing the R/G version posted a few months ago (with Spirit of the Hunts replacing the Pack Guardians and 1 of Ulrich), and I feel like giving up the Arlinn Kords is a big hit to the deck. Also I think having red available for your sideboard allows a good deal more flexibility (Uncaged Fury/Magmatic Chasm/Fiery Temper...). That said, will have to give this one a go for sure.

Would be interesting to see your take on mono red Vampires, since your take on this is pretty spectacular. I know red has less flyers, which is probably the biggest downside, but the creatures are definitely there, and so is the madness synergy.
@XxXx-gd5qc8 жыл бұрын
I don't think silver partisan is going to be triggering alot with only 2 prey upon and 2 waxing moon. also how do you feel about tangleclaw werewolf/fibrous entangler in this deck? I really like the board control forcing blocks with a 6 toughness creature that also has viligance and can also block 2 creatures each combat.

Hey Wedge, great deck, I think I can easily play this without having to actually buy cards lol, anyways I was wandering if you could do any type of Humans deck preferably without collected Company, thanks. Also are you going to do decks without Origins and DTK when Kaladesh's set fully comes out?
@BlaineTog8 жыл бұрын
Looks good, though I'm really not sure about only including 2 copies of Waxing Moon. It's an incredible card, but mostly just in the early game -- swinging with a transformed Kessig Prowler on turn 2 is catastrophically powerful but on turn 8 or 9, you'd probably rather just pay the transform cost and have a different card in hand. Going with 2 copies makes it awfully unlikely that you'll get it in the early game, when it's strongest.

Looks great! except what are we to cast on Silverfur Partisan to get him creating 2/2 wolfs??
@Bibbedibabbedibu8 жыл бұрын
You don't have to cast on the Partisan. Any wolf or werewolf works. If your opponent targets any of your creatures you get a wolf. If you play waxing moon to transform one of your wolfes you get a free wolf. Also: prey upon. It targets one of your creatures and one of your opponents, so you get a free wolf out of the deal. So not too many options, which is probably why Wedge said it was the weakest card in the deck, but still plenty of value.
@DustinSilva8 жыл бұрын
+Bibbedibabbedibu okay I missed that the first go around 😆

Hi I just started playing magic and I would appreciate advice from anyone here. I really like the budget red, green wolf deck previously featured. If I buy Arlinn Kord and Atarka's command would it be better than this deck? They're not that expensive but I don't want to spend $50 on a deck if the $25 version is better.

hey Wedge, whatb about a super Political/Backstabby Queen Marchesa Deck tech once Conspiracy is out? :) Lookign uo card for it at the moment. Imagining it as political as possible without being control. I want my opponents to feel as if they do what THEY want while I shape their actions, the combat phases and the game as a whole. A little group hug touch fits even Marchesa of course but it shouldn't be the main focus...should rather be there to make the moment you backstab someone with things like redericting combat damage so much sweeter. I kinda imagien the Deck to have a Major focus on the Orzhov focus with influences from Boros for the Battlestep and some rakdos for some need cards that also still fit the theme (Rakdos chaos card >> stirring up trouble/civil outrage). All this said...I still think my knowledge of the Magic card library is rather small and also to still keep in midn what is viable (it is for casual) to still be a consistent theme is somethign Is truggle with. I hope my visions are inspiring you, haha :D

I'm holding out for a good Adriana EDH deck. Or heck, the new Grenzo is hilarious.
@TravistheGREAT038 жыл бұрын
Dapper Blook Adriana is a R/W token commander I don#t know what else you would play with her, she screams tokens. And well I am one of the boring people that don't like monocolor commanders :D And the thing with marchesa is is that it is a political commander that includes red, and I love red. But is not random like Ruhan or pure grouphug like Zedruu. The monarch thing itself is highly political. And controlling the combat, the damage and alot of other thigns to freely control who is the monarch absed on what benfits you the most sounds really cool for me. And fitting to MArchesas character you jsut mix some backstabby cards in there. Like imagining a player that you worked with the whole game going all out on an almost dead 3rd player, suddenly you redirect damage and blast your partner away.
