Great to see you managed to get David Sabatini to talk with you, but sorry it was such a short video. Are there more videos coming? By the way - you can easily buy rapamycin for $1/mg or so from vendors on Indiamart.com without a prescription. I have had the quality evaluated via HPLC and you probably want to avoid the Biocon Sirolimus / rapamycin. Go for one of the other vendors.

Hi B Chik, thanks for your comment and sharing. Yes, there are more videos from the interview coming.

Interesting that you refer to the Biocon brand and suggest against that particular one. That is what I received my shipment. Did you find that that was not a good brand or did not do well with the testing?

Interesting topic and great to have such an expert! Maybe next time but I was hoping the fundamental question about ageing and the why increased mTOR contributes to this process. Also how AMPK keeps mTOR in check.

Hi, thanks for your question. In the next video I ask Dr. Sabatini specifically why mTOR controls aging although we do not get into AMPK. We will release this video later today.

Anyone have a dosage recommendation on weekly rapamycin ?
@bchik98564 жыл бұрын
Yes - the typical dose is between 5mg and 12mg, dosed once per week (this is what the Drs. Peter Attia, Alan Green and Blagosklonny use and give their patients. Start at 1mg and increase by 1 mg until you get side effects (typically canker sores in mouth) then back off and stabilize for a few weeks and then go up again. Most people take a break once per 3 or 6 month for 4 weeks. Follow Blagosklonny, Matt Kaeberlein and Peter Attia for details: twitter.com/mkaeberlein/status/1295164977276280832?s=20
