I just discovered MT & am totally enthralled 😃 Josh Ramsay: what a personality, voice, & range!! I'm 67 & MT's sound brings back my 80's dancing days: George Michael, Prince newly burst upon the scene, Madonna, The Alarm, The Fixx (yes, an acquired taste!), Dire Straits, Simple Minds, etc. Such great music & energy! Josh is very special: versatile, everchanging, funny, dramatic, & outsize talented. I knew from an early age that I didn't want kids (in this lifetime!) but have wondered what my baby might look like, his or her future, talents, & challenges. I saw this video then read Josh's quote about learning they were going to have their first child, & got absolute chills ~ his joy & excitement come over SO clearly in this song!! Most of all, he just seems so damn nice & HAPPY, infectious with it, exuberant & opening his arms wide to the WORLD & Universe!! 💖💢💢💥 This song actually makes me wonder if I should have had children, which I've always been adamant about, but oh, all his emotions, positive vibes, & sense of wonder!! Josh, I wish you & your lady all the best always. Whatever happens in your child's life, he or she will be very special too, & -- I believe -- destined for great things. HAPPINESS & JOY to you all!!! I don't think these guys will ever understand how much joy this brought to my heart. I have survived through addiction, life altering events and mental illness. The last time I felt normal was the days when I was obsessed with this band. I was the ultimate 13 year old fan girl and it is still some of the best memories I have. Being able to go back to those moments today was more than I could ever ask for from an artist. Genuinely thank you ❤

As I struggle with what we lost during the pandemic, I can honestly say that I may not have found these guys ever without it. The line about his mother and father being in the room still makes me clutch. I’ve probably played it 100 times already. My 25 year old son just rolls his eyes and points out a new Marianas Trench video I haven’t binged yet. And having found them together I discovered Josh’s solo album that is fantastic and opened the door to all the other Canadian artists he recorded duets with. I could go on and, but I’ll just sit back and watch the video for the 100th time.
