Thank you for bringing the railway to an on old person who can no longer go train spotting. It looks different and a lot cleaner than when I was at Doncaster over 70 years ago with my ABC!

I remember those abc books half crown for the pocket books and ten shillings for the combined books

I am from Australia and am amazed at the variety of rains as we seem to have most of our trains looking identical .

The trains of Hitachi, Ltd. in Japan run a lot in England. It is a great honor for the Japanese to have a Japanese train adopted in Britain, the birthplace of the train.

青空太郎 This is my opinion but I think your Japanese trains are slowly taking over England and our proper English trains will be no more.

During the war ABCs were hard to come by. I copied an LNER ABC by hand from a borrowed copy.

I really want the azumas to be painted in the old black and white inter city liverie😂
@grahamallen27115 жыл бұрын
You might have thought that with new rolling stock , LNER would have new livery colours

I think as well as having Japanese high speed trains we should have Japanese management too because they'd do a far better job than what we are doing!

I hope the Azuma has a better interior than the GWR 800 class train
@tsu80035 жыл бұрын
Depends what the British rail companies ordered! The interior of the 800 has clearly been designed to British specifications so you can hardly blame Hitachi for it!

Train liveries these days are so bland. Very dull and boring grey/white liveries. Why can't East Coast Mainline stations all have pre recorded announcements.
