This is some old footage from about 3 years ago that my mate Albert (driving the old Toyota Surf in the video) has put together for me. He did all the editing and thumbnail 😁👍🏻
In this video we set out to have an explore on the tracks at Mundaring Powerlines which turned out to be a pretty funny day with a few mishaps and good challenges for all!

2012 Forester XT S-Edition has the following mods:
-Subieliftoz 2 inch lift kit
-Rear HD King springs with S-Edition shocks
-BFG Ko2
-Process West top mount
-Larger fuel pump
-Turbo back exhaust
-vf52 turbo (factory fitted to this particular spec Forester)
-Dyno tuned to suit listed mods

@MontyScott awesome. Yea I got a 2010 subaru forester xt manual they definitely a good car ae. I was thinking of going off road route just for getting to fishing spots

The rear was working before the boggy bead, He kept letting off each time just as it started to climb out haha. should have held the throttle that little bit longer :P Nice Video Monty

Yeah the rear locker in the Fortuner helps so much! So close but so far... 🤣 it's a tricky little challenge when it's that wet! Cheers mate!

Hi, does the lift kit cause any problems with CV joint at all?

I put new genuine CVs in the front when I put the lift in about 100k kms ago and have never broken one... Mind you I have replaced a couple but only because of damaged boots. From what I've seen genuine CVs are the go and you have to be somewhat mindful of them by not going crazy while the steering is at full lock and try not to come down from a big wheel lift with full throttle and the lifted wheel spinning really fast... Keep things like that in mind and you should be sweet 👍🏻

@@MontyScott Thank you so much for your information. I have been thinking to have a set of Ironman ATS which gives 1.5-2 inches lift on my new Outback. It is my everyday car so I can't transform it into a monster. I've talked to the Ironman headquarter they said they have no reports regarding CV joint issues globally, but who knows. Currently I have Black Rhino Boxer wheels plus KO2 AT yres, and a Subaxtreme sump guard. I only want to drive it to the beach, the final goal will be Fraser Island. Do you have any recommondations between spacers and suspension lift please?

Thanks, yeah unfortunately we didn't get much footage that day as we had the tyre issue with my mate that took quite a while to sort out then we got a lot of rain so we headed home before we had heaps of content.

I "loves it". Subie been a Subie and spreading some fun to the Subaru Community, mud everywhere and hate to the "real 4x4" owners! Exciting and inspiring! Also, the hole on the hood...that's a printer, for rod knock related invoices!🥲 Seriously now, which suspension is on the XT?

Haha we can all get along and have some fun 😁 oh geeze I hope I don't have any of those invoices anytime soon! I'm running stock S-edition struts, standard springs in the front, HD King springs in the rear and a 2 inch Subieliftoz kit 👍🏻
