I've watched many videos of Evan and even though I am not into bodybuilding, I love him. His calm attitude, his approach to life and nutrition struck me. Many of the things I have experienced in my daily nutrition is because of Evan. 1 thing I'll never change and that's also because of him is my consumption of whole eggs, I was not as much into eggs as I am today. To be fair, I can digest potatoes better than rice, as for fish now I opt for canned tuna in brine. Also, since I decided to switch to lean ground beef over chicken, I haven't had digestive issues or any other issues with piles that I used to suffer from. To conclude, Evan has most of the times stated the obvious, healthy food isn't fancy, nevertheless that doesn't mean that if you put in the effort and love to prepare it that it won't taste good. Food is fuel and to quote Evan "if food is just an afterthought, your body is going to look like an afterthought. ".

Hey muscle and strength ever consider making a video of ordinary person an average joe working 9-5 on meal preps and grocery shopping. Now that’s something I would definitely watch more

Big Evan videos makes a brother want to life every weight in the gym. Hell i even went Marrazzo's Market in Ewing, NJ.. i tried to do week meal prep with $100 total fail with today's food prices.

One really important concept is to don’t get addicted to cheat foods when you’re bulking because cutting is going to be so much harder so learn to enjoy basic foods just eat less than when you’re cutting and more of them when you’re bulking

I do one thing differently. Instead of fish and rice with added oil, I just eat chicken thighs so I don’t hate myself. Evan is a G though, he can make fish and rice prep interesting. If I filmed this, it would be a 32 second video.

At least 1g per lb of bodyweight. Many who used to believe 2g per lb was the way to go have seen better gains, less inflammation and better digestion with 1g per lb.

It taste great but requires a lot more cleaning afterwards to avoid other foods smelling like fish. Fishy sweet potato is not fun lol

I think it really depends on the individual and how the food is prepared but yes you are right. I still can't eat fish out of a Tupperware because of trauma in high school seeing / smelling fish gel.

I buy quality white fish from my fish mongers once a week. This meal alone would cost you few dollars right in a restaurant. 👍

Thats the diet for balancing But fish is for cutting I do every day tilapia together with 4 eggs whites 3 to 4 meals like that its cutting and putting lean muscle on Other way doesn't exist

Fish is a low calorie protein option, but it can still be used in weight gain plans.

@muscleandstrength depends if your 1 meal consists 2 fish fillet instead of 1 I used to eat 200 grams of chicken fillet per meal and jumped to 3 pounds per day which was really a lot and still gained a lot of weight but lean muscle ! It doesn't really exist cutting phase it's just how much you intake food and calories per day which has to be counted ! I do one week zero carbs but high fat and protein while weekends 80% of carbs !

Let me save you 15 minutes of your time. Its cod and rice. One is cooked with olive oil for extra calories. Don't waste your time watching it, nothing special
