Once I have a few hundred grand from a insurance settlement after a bad accident that has left my right femur shattered this is the type of business I’m starting. You’ve inspired me to do the same thing, work with fungus and be a modern day farmer. This is the way, I appreciate all of your videos that will definitely help me along the way. I’m taking mental notes repeatedly.

For real, I dabbled in growing mushrooms 13 years ago and I'm back now. I dreamed for years what I wanted my mushroom farm to look like then this dude built it so no I have to do it. I don't have a settlement just a bad back from living like a rock star while being a measly construction worker so I will have to start small and grow but I'm OK with that. Good luck to you on your venture.

To have hair pulled into something it has to be of a length comparable to the rotating wheel. There is some kinda equation for it. Anyways the hair can’t get “sucked” into the machine at this size the rotation is to large. If he was closer to the shaft maybe I would be more concerned but safety first anyways I agree better safe than sorry

Tape off a few of those first water holes in your mixer, maybe every other one. it will push to the right for an even mix.

Yes. Also.. to speed and simplify the hole clogs, Instead of that pair of scissors, one could measure the space and distance of holes, and then put thin nails into a plank of wood (with the hole spacing per nail to match the water holes) to make that a 1step process easier, no?

I saw these amazing mushrooms yesterday🙏 I live in the pine barrens of NJ. Its like mushroom heaven certain times of year. Every full moon i watch these big white mushrooms sprout out the grass overnight. Yesterday I saw these orange and white mushrooms. I'm not educated on the species but they're the kind that usually grow off the side of trees with that wavy pattern. I've seen this mushroom before, they're usually white or tan. These were orange, like highlighter orange. I assume cause they were so fresh, or were in the sun or shade? Idk, I just known they were gorgeous, and they made my day.

8:10 solution will be making a bigger holes where the water comes the lest. Just try to increase a couple of holes, or the oposite, close a little bit with tape the holes that are giving more water. You could ajust this in a couple of hours so it would be a big inversión to relax when mixing and also be able to mix it good from the beginning.

Oh nooo, ya'll play league? 😂 I have to disagree about other mushroom growers not dialing in their stages. We spend a lot of time doing the same thing over and over, and usually expecting results from it because there's so much time being invested into the future. Doing certain things in optimal order, time, and precision are heavy parts of mushroom growing if you take it seriously, and for businesses they have to.
