I love Mushroomheads, and Slipknot, but I love Mushroomheads a little bit more. Also there are different types of metal like, Extreme metal Black metal Death metal Speed metal Thrash metal Technical Death metal Metalcore (Which is one of the most popular "metal subgenres for most new listeners of metal.) Deathcore ( same as metalcore, but more heavier once you got used to metalcore.) Progressive metal ( two popular bands in Progressive metal would be Opeth, and Tool. I would recommend listening to Opeth.) Djent ( More of the groovy side of metal. It's used with precise beats and really amazing drumming. Try a band called Veil of maya- We bow in its aura. They are a technical Deathcore/ Djent band as well as Meshuggah. Power Metal- More of the heroic, Dungeons and dragons sword fighting, and rpg, fighting pirates type of sub genre of metal to lift your mood to be a little bit happy. There are more, but that's just some for now. If you read all of this, and sorry for the long essay lol.

Mushroomhead started in 93 and Slipknot started in 95 so they are unique. Started the masks, first of the big 3 mask bands.

Loved your reaction! I'm sure you will hear about the fued between slipknot and mushroomheads fans. That slipknot copied mushroomhead by wearing masks. That's the stupidest idea ever lol. The first band to ever water masks was the Residents in 1969. There have been others way before eaither slipknot or mushroomhead and will be others after. I love both bands! They are both different. Alas, you will always have your metal elitists out there. I say," if you enjoy it that's all that matters!
