The best part about twelve foot ninja is that the guitarist models all of his sounds and uses it to have his strings tuned normally but change his tuning and pitch with his audio interface. It's really cool to hear him talk about it and demonstrate.
@DrTomoculus3 жыл бұрын
8:30 - 8:48 -- for me, that's the best part of the whole song. The whole song is awesome, but when it gets to that section, I just love it. And it's the vocal he's putting over that syncopated beat. He's going Latin -- it's almost Bossa Nova if you take away all the hardcore, and replace it with acoustic instrumentation. He's going bossa nova. It's a great band, "One Hand Killing" is just one of those songs that had to be. I'm glad it truly got them the attention they had deserved for 8 years by that point. Another favourite is from SMOKE BOMB --- "War". Such a good song.

Being a HUGE Mr.Bungle fan, when I found these guys. I was really happy! That's the first comparison, I think, Mr.Bungle. Yeah the singer is incredible & very versatile as you will learn as you delve further into TFN. I'd recommend their live acoustic performance of "Kingdom" they did on a radio show or the recent acoustic performance they put out themselves of the tracks "Deluge" & "Liberation". They both really highlight the warmth/depth of his vocal tone & of course display what great musicians they all are, such a tight band.

I just watched most of your metal song reactions and cannot say how much I appreciate your reaction, input, opinion and improvisation (I would include your editor here as well). Thank you for the hard work you both put in these videos. The messages, you profess throughout the reaction but mainly towards the end, are aslo greatly appreciated in a world where positivism is somewhat lacking if not being shunned. I know some of the metal fans have constructively criticised you to roll back a few seconds after a pause but if that disgustingly heavy guitar riff was not my favourite until I watched this reaction (which it was), it would have become now. On a side note - how you have not been asked into oblivion to react to Nightwish, considering how leading the keys are in their music and your ability on the keys, is just beyond me. If you have been, well, please feel agressively reminded to check Nightwis - Ghost Love Score live. If you like what you hear there are many more songs not only from Nightwish, but you better be ready for the Nightwish army and they will love you. On a personal note - you should check Symphony X as they mix the metal with classical music in the sense, well, you will know what I mean after you hear any of their songs. The Serpent's Kiss probably being a good stepping stone.
