Well "as good as it sounded in the 70s" is definitely an exaggeration, but his voice has aged well, which is the point I was trying to make.

@@Diego-Delgado Not even close. This is a sultry song that everyone can come together and sing, regardless of race or language. You don't need to speak English to sing "Na Na" with the people around you. Music is meant to unite and bring people happiness as a whole, and this song does just that. No one song has that kind of impact or power. When you get thousands chanting those simple let beautiful lyrics together while the warm melody soothes. Can't beat it

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain, Don't carry the world upon your shoulders. For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool By making his world a little colder. Hey Jude, don't let me down. You have found her, now go and get her. Remember to let her into your heart, Then you can start to make it better. So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin, You're waiting for someone to perform with. And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do, The movement you need is on your shoulder. The “na na na” part brings me to tears every time to hear the crowd. It’s a very transcendent where it goes past all language, race, religion, or any other differences to have all the people singing the same part, unified. I’m not sure why it makes me so emotional, but it does. Every single time.
