Very nice comic song, I have the version by Billy Murray on Victor. Never seen a Lakeside Cylinder Phonograph either.

I remember hearing part of this song while playing a game called, "The Ship: Murder Party". As for your phonograph collection, you're lucky to have something that plays cylinder records. In my case, I have one dusty Edison Blue Amberol cylinder record, and no machine to play it on to see if the record is in good shape or not, for disc records are king in my household. I would like to give the cylinder to anyone that would be interested in it. At any rate, keep up on these fascinating videos.

I keep the hope up that someone will apply 3d printing technology to aid in the fabrication of new reproducer parts for these machines. A few years ago, I came across one of those US double reproducers, but it literally crumbled in my hands when I tried to rotate the positioner. I tried superglue, to no avail, but was still able to sell it on ebay. I had no idea that those machines played so well, yours being the only one I have heard. I have heard that the company failed in part due to being litigated to death by Edison.... I have enjoyed every one of your videos, thank you

Fantastic! Never heard one of these played. OMG. What a shame for the use of that dreadful POP METAL. These things (*earliest late 1960's memories) were all on the blink because of the Pot Metal. Nobody back then knew what to do.
