Yes, it’s hard to put into words why Angelina’s voice is so compelling, but it is-across different registers and in different genres. I think it’s a combination of elements: a truly beautiful voice, amazing control of timbre and texture, and incredible flexibility to adapt that voice to fit the singing style she chooses. On top of that, Angelina’s natural musicality gives us unexpected, but always perfect, riffs, little runs, and a killer vibrato that she can use in any register or style. I can listen to Angelina everyday, all day, singing songs I’ve heard her do hundreds of times. She’s never seems like she’s performing. She’s singing.

Nice job. Very nice mini-cover! I agree with your observations about Angelina's tone and the difficulty in actually describing it! 2 imperfect analogies (because they are both technically impossible) is that it is almost like she is always harmonizing with herself..or maybe that she sings in stereo when others are mono. Whatever it is, it works!

Nice reaction Andrea. You are spot-on regarding the backing track. It really does obscure Angelina’s beautiful voice. Fortunately Republic records (and particularly her pianist Rob Christie) understand that Angelina’s voice is at its most beautiful when the accompaniment is subdued. Andrea of course our Angelina killed it like she always does, I can't get enough of her voice! I've seen her just totally take over somebodies emotions, myself included! However that is one of the things that I believe sets an artist apart from others. But lets not, not make mention of YOUR voice at the end of this video. 1. I’ve run out of things to say about Angelina’s talent. She is a monster. In a good way. 2. I’m sure you already know this Andrea but you have a *really* beautiful voice. It seems like literally every time a reactor opens their mouth and starts to sing in the middle of a reaction I cringe. But, wow, that was beautiful. Even the little fragments you sang from time to time to make points really captured spirit of the cover. In most cases the reactor doing that sounds like a sheep with bad pitch and laryngitis in an echo chamber. (Hello other reactors 😃.) I love your covers and would love to hear the full version of this one from you... 3. I’ve always had a preference for single person reactions because we get to hear the reactor’s unfettered thoughts without the influence of another person. Plus, the reactor has the opportunity to say things as they come to mind rather than having to check themselves while the other person is speaking (and frequently never getting back to the thought). I’m not sure if you’ve done this before, but I *really* enjoyed hearing you react by yourself. That’s no disrespect to Sean, I’m just speaking format here.

It's me again. I wanted to add your name to the list of singers that have the ability to convey emotions through their singing. For example when I hear the other women singers in Sean's circle of co-stars, none of them impact me the way your voice does. Don't get me wrong they all can sing very well but they don't have IT the way you and the three I mentioned in my other comment do. Anyway the other two singers are going to be stars in their own right. If you would pay special attention to Gracie-Jayne's phrasing in her song. If is too bad this doesn't include the coaches comments. If it did you would've heard Jessie J tell Gracie that hers was the best performance of the semi-finals.In the two years since that competition, Gracie-Jayne has grown vocally by leaps and bounds. I am sorry i don't mean for you to have to do anything I suggest, though I know you probably don't anyway. I'm old and alone and get excited by seeing all this talent from all around the world. Anyway again do what you want and forget the rest or all of it for that matter.

It's true the audio of this cover is not the best, there is a video in which pa1189j has reduced the background of the track and Angelina's voice stands out better (link attached). Great reaction, analysis and mini-concert! It is so much more interesting when you bring your knowledge and finesse as a vocalist and musician to the table. I think Angelina sings this song beautifully. Unfortunately, I also think the karaoke backing track is horrible AND much too loud in the mix. A simple piano laying down the chords and doing some fills between the lines would have made this magical. I hope you continue with these Angelina reactions. And by now you probably know that she has a new and improved version of Adele’s «Easy On Me» up on her cover channel..? 😉

Why is your sound so terrible? Well I don't mean you, but the sound of Angelina & the music. It sounds like I'm listening to a single speaker A.M. radio in a 67 Chevy Impala...SMH
