This beautiful song was written by John Deacon for his lovely wife Veronica to whom he is still married and they have 6 children together. John plays the electric piano on this song. Freddie hated that piano and gave it to John who learned how to play it and felt that this song needed to be played on it. He was right, this song was a hit for him and Queen.

THANK YOU John, Your reactions to Queen & Freddie are ALWAYS among my favorites! I adore the fact that John Deacon wrote this song for his wife, and that they’re STILL married after all these years. (Awhile ago, I “informed” my husband that this was going to be our “official song” too… We’ve been married over 25 years now, so it seemed fitting!)

John, you are my very favorite reaction person. Thank You for not being annoying by stopping the music every second just to say WOW! or just being loud and crazy or over the top. You are very soft spoken and you just say it clearly and honestly and always respectfully. I like the way you do it.

Awwww this song gives me warm fuzzies, you hear the intro and suddenly the day is better!! Penned by John Deacon for his wife Veronica! So cute. Anyway, this song has been featured in TV shows, commercials, & film .. most notably The Break-Up & Shaun Of The Dead. Thank you .. 🫶

Thank you John, I adore this song since John wrote it for his wife..and the bonus is that he plays piano and sings on this as well...I’ve just come across a small clip, here on KZbin, of John counting in the intro of another that he wrote in 1977, “Who needs you”🤩

I love this song. It's just simple and sweet and heartfelt and just makes you feel good. My favorite story about this song is Roger, who was a player, hated having to sing the lyric "I'm happy, happy at home." John Deacon wrote the song and very much was happy at home.

I know you love Lynyrd Skynyrd. Have you ever checked out their concert at Asbury Park Convention Hall (Official) 7/13/77. Their set is amazing. Free bird is killer. Sweet Home Alabama is killer. T for Texas from this concert is amazing. Would love to see a reaction video of that song from this concert. Steve Gaines(as Ronnie calls him “My Okie”) just puts on a stellar performance. Scott B.

Hello John as a subscriber and a follower have you thought about the Righteous Brothers rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" it's short but could be the most powerful version ever recorded+the way they break the vocals down & suspend the background for a few seconds is almost angelic. Give it a try for Us out here Your Follower's
