I always try to talk to kids the same way that Dave Grohl did -- like they are a thinking, reasoning human being. It's always nice to see how Dave lives his life and deals with others, the guy inspires me and I'm not even really like some kind of big Foo Fighters fan (I do enjoy a number of their tunes though). Also enjoy that we have one thing in common: have trolled the Westboro Baptist Church with music, although his efforts along those lines are more epic than what my band was able to do lol (playing country music at an event to honor veterans of war in Los Angeles, WBC sent people to protest, we dedicated a song to them, YMCA by the village people (sadly we had to have it streamed into the PA, we just didn't know it well enough to do it justice), and requested that only men dance during that song, long haired outlaw country guys were grinding on each other in front of WBC protesters, us band members on stage dancing and playing grab ass, we basically ruined WBC's fucking day lol).

It's good to see MGK after he got shit on by almost everybody in the industry. He got told he was shit to his face by so many people for so long, then he pushed through the bullshit and really made it. Good on him.
