Love this. I was fortunate enough to see him play a small venue in St. Louis MO. Even got to sing with him once. Long story...

Used to use a fake id to get into the Dallas Cellar to watch them. Back in the late 60's. I was in a 3 piece that played the blues too. Linda Waring was my idol. Always just right.

In about 1976 one of the best live concerts of my life: Bugs Henderson opening for Roy Buchanan, Wed thru Sat nights, 2 sets each, Electric Ballroom, Atlanta GA. I was there every night til 4:30am.

Just found out Bugs has been dead since 2012. Wow.. Saw him several times in Wichita Falls, TX and I have a Strat that he was nice enough to autograph for me. His tone was superb. Very sad news that he's gone. RIP.

The guitar is so awesome especially when it is played with the style and skill of Bugs Henderson. His drummer is not what I would expect in this band a woman that is older but she is an excellent drummer. I am really impressed with her skill on drums. I would rate her skill level of blues percussion an A. They won't play this on the radio what a ripoff for the many masses of people who would totally dig this style. Radio is an industry designed to make money on commercials only. Music enthusiasts like myself need more avenues than the basic repetitive radio.

I played with Bugs from 1967 to 1974 and then again from 2003 to 2009.

Hi Linda...thank you guys for the great music! I worked with a guy years ago who said he lived next door to Bugs Henderson in Garland (I think it was on Victoria Drive). Do you know if that's correct?

That’s woman is the legendary Linda Warring, from Fancy Space. She can cover anything a man and do it better. Try and find some old footage of Bugs with Nitzinger. She will blow you away. That woman’s a legend

My favorite version, perhaps other than Freddie his own self. Bugs was a great guy, friend, and player.

Used to see Bugs at the Cellar in Dallas in the late 60's early 70's. Same chick drummer. I think her name is Linda. Jimmy Vaughan was his other guitar player. Was sad to hear of his passing.

Jimmy never played with us. It was Sliding Stevie Davis.

Linda , It's been a pleasure for so many years to hear you play with John N. & Bugs. Nice to see you are still playing & you still got the kicks. What an honor for you to have gotten to play with the greats from Texas. Love them all & Rocky Athas is another phenomenal player. Thanks for sharing your talent for all these years.

For my money, Bugs was up there with Roy Buchanan and Rory Gallagher. Pity he never got as famous.
