BACKSTORY ON THIS INCIDENT: At that particular girls school, from freshman year high school, it is drilled into their heads the importance of upholding the school’s tradition and to NOT do that at graduation. MANY MANY MANY alums (INCLUDING Black women) have come forward and defended the school because they stress the importance of this ceremony as a girls school. That administrator had NOTHING against the girl. Even she admitted that she knew the rule and decided that she wanted to break just because, so please stop with this bullshit narrative that the woman was racist or that it was because she was Muslim, because that wasn’t the case at all. Just the following week, another student from a community college made a scene at a graduation and ran to social media to say that the school and administrator was racist when it wasn’t the case either and guess what happened? Everyone found out she too was LYING and even other students of colour spoke out on the matter and everyone realised how silly they looked defending a girl whose intention was just to go viral and promote her OnlyFans page (not this Muslim girl). You all shouldn’t be quick to sit and defend people who are told beforehand to NOT be disruptive during ceremonies.

FULL STORY RECAP: the rule was the audience wasnt allowed to cheer during the ceromony and when she did her move across the stage the audience giggled which violated said rule in the eyes of the principal handing out the diplomas. It was a misunderstanding of the situation and mis application of the rule. It also happened to three other girls. Nobody including the girl in the video thought it was anything against her religious beliefs. She and the 3 others still got their diplomas after the ceromony. Even the schools administrators reached out to the family to express their apologies for misunderstanding.

Thats not what it means. She chose to attend an american school with that tradition and policy in place for how many years? Is this a deliberate attempt to depict Muslims as victims of prejudice and tyranny by others begrudging them a moment of happiness? Am I to believe that all of you commenting here missed the obvious fact that the problem occurred on stage where the graduate refused to free her right hand as the protocol required to shake hands with the presenter although she was prompted twice to do so? The rules of etiquette for receiving a diploma are to shake the presenter’s hand with the right hand and then receive the diploma in the left hand. So, the graduate should have approached with her bouquet of flowers in her left hand, shaken hands with her right hand, transferred the bouquet to her right hand, and then received her diploma in her left hand. So her dancing had nothing to do with it, which frankly did not convey a celebratory mood or happiness at any rate but rather a contrived unattractive attitude just like the rest of you here….

This channel is also purposely hyping up the “arab” Vs Israeli hate with multiple videos cut specifically to allow them to misrepresent it. I have to ask Wtf is the point. It’s so sad that it seems we always have to deal with over extreme or the other, never just rational actors being reasonable. For whatever her reasoning, it was more important to her to hold her flowers in her right hand instead of her diploma. Its not like this is somethinh sacred to her or some sort of tradition because everyone else is also holding flowers but when it came time to accept their diploma, they put the flowers in their left hand to accept their diploma with the right hand which is the way its been done at graduations forever for whatever reason.

What does the left hand symbolize in the Bible? In many religions, including Christianity, the right hand of God is the favored hand. For example 'after the Lord Jesus, had spoken to them (the Eleven disciples) he was taken up into the heaven and he sat at the right hand of God'. God's left hand, however, is the hand of judgment.

Is this a deliberate attempt to depict Muslims as victims of prejudice and tyranny by others begrudging them a moment of happiness? Am I to believe that all of you commenting here missed the obvious fact that the problem occurred on stage where the graduate refused to free her right hand as the protocol required to shake hands with the presenter although she was prompted twice? The rules of etiquette for receiving a diploma are to shake the presenter’s hand with the right hand and then receive the diploma in the left hand. So, the graduate should have approached with her bouquet of flowers in her left hand, shaken hands with her right hand, transferred the bouquet to her right hand, and then received her diploma in her left hand. Her dancing had nothing to do with it, which frankly did not convey a celebratory mood or happiness at any rate but rather a contrived unattractive attitude just like the rest of you here….

The Muslim will demand anything - can and will they do that in any Islamic institute or country ?? The school did not deny the cert, the recipient was reluctant to collect it just as any other with the right hand .. y don't they use their feet or mouth to collect it? Certain established norms has been practiced for years and they signed up on enrolment to respect and follow it before studying there. It was not the dance - it was refusal to accept with right hand and the recipient was the one who turned it down - the awarder tried putting it into her right hand but she pushed the awardees hand off and the awarder reluctantly had turn to put it in a basket to let her collect it at a latter date at the office Cheers 🥂

This CEREMONY is rehearsed in every school prior to graduation day so that you don’t embarrass yourself.

Smh y’all look at the video!! The lady tried to give her the diploma but the graduate refused it in the proper hand! That was her fault not the lady giving it to her. We must learn there are rules and protocol to things and we can’t just walk around this earth doing whatever we want to. Everybody feels entitled nowadays just do whatever you wanna do but there are consequences to your actions! You must think before you act!

The older woman is presumptuous and acting beyond her authority to deny the young lady her diploma. The student just danced and jumped fir a few seconds because of her excitement. The old woman is offended because the student became the centre of attention for a few seconds. The woman is a downright narcissist with egotist personality disorder, and probably a racist derp down. She damages the reputation of the school or college by her serious intolerance, rigid and egotistic mind frame and her overt racism. She should be dismissed instantly from the school if she is employed by the school, or discharged from all future school functions if she was invited as an honor guest.

You are an unobservant sheep but clearly not speechless. The young woman wasn't refused the diploma. She turned and walked away rather than accept it in her RIGHT hand. It was only after she walked away that the older lady put it in the bin. There is no explanation as to why she wouldn't take it in her right hand. It had nothing to do with the little jig she did (isn't Islam supposed to be against dancing anyway?). She was being an attention seeking overgrown, overindulged brat.
