Hi Amreen, you can try doing the exercises using dumbbell and also decline push-ups are amazing. You may also use resistance band, to mimic the Low Cable Fly workout. =)

You taught me how to using empty milk bottle instead of dumbbell and cushion for leaning against the wall. At that time I could feel my body change and my cheast lift up. FWIW, 3 of these exercises require no gym. The dumbbell Incline Press & Incline Fly are excellent. Even big monster bodybuilders do them as they are classic. Pay attention to how she never lets the flat of her back rest on the bench, she always keeps it arched. This makes the work much more specific to your chest. Finally, the Declined Push Up is also a great one; the decline performing a similar role to the arched back of the dumbbell exercises to help isolate chest muscles. If you Ladies start performing these exercises as Joanna sez than in no time at all handsome, proper but unattached men (who really wish they could find direction and purpose in their lives) will be following you all over the place!

How do you do the dumbbels exercises without the inclinded bench? Is it still the same from the floor?

@@cosminamerca8397 I think I see what you are asking. There are many different dumbbell routines, but the ones Joanna is shown performing were on an incline bench, yes. So, to do exactly those you would need an incline bench for proper form - but not a gym (which can mean also a gym membership = $$$). The incline bench helps Joanna to maintain a strict body form because she is showing us a specific routine she likes. Using a different form would not be specific for its intended purpose. To be fair to this fine instructor, you could not do the FULL routine she shows without some kind of real gym because of all the various equipment stations she works with. But, you could easily order a perfectly decent home incline bench from say, Amazon and perform the two exercises she demonstrates with dumbbells. The other ones, like with an Olympic bar would need more equipment for safety's sake and you'd reach the point you might as well join a gym. Bottom line: google dumbbell routine for many safe exercises you can do without anything but the dumbbells. For Joanna's dumbbell routine you can use your own home incline bench. But for her full routine you should use a full gym. Hope this helps!

Hi Joanna, I feel my arms are week and due to this it is very difficult for me to do chest, shoulder or Arms workout like dumbell fly, push-ups etc please advise what should I do to solve this problem. You can always start with slightly lighter weights, just to work on your form first. It takes time to master proper form but the key is to keep doing the same exercises over and over again as this will help to create the mind-body connection and eventually your muscles will register what you are doing. =) I do always have lots of upper body workouts. No protein, no muscle growth. As for losing weight/burning off fat; just try to eat healthy and have a calorie deficit (burn more calories than you eat). For weight loss, protein doesn’t really matter, but weight loss can be both fat and muscle loss at the same time, so I would suggest you do make sure you get enough protein TOGETHER with calorie deficit to loose fat, not muscle mass.

For the dumbbells, you can start with 4kgs and even up to 10kgs. There's no fixed number. It really depends on your strength. But you shouldn't be lifting too light as it defeats the purpose of build chest muscles. 🙂
