Thanks for showing how this goes on the machine. I was considering buying this from the developer, but his description said that you take the screw out, but he doesn't say anything about putting the screw back in. You make our sewing lives so much better. Thanks for all of your valuable help.

I use the wonder clip with an auxiliary thread stand. I thought this was something I experienced. Surprised that Bernina’s solution was a thread net. Thanks for the information.

Nice job Jeff 😃 but Bernina should fix the issue themselves, not have us buy extra items to fix the issue, especially with the price we pay for the machines. I love Bernina, but it it just wrong that they don’t sort it out, hopefully they will do the right thing by their loyal customers soon.

I had an unrelated problem with my less than year old 790. After multiple attempts to rectify the problem, my dealer sent my machine to Bernina to find and fix the problem. In addition to replacing the whole assembly of the function that had been failing, they replaced a part with one that fixed the problem with the tread popping out. I knew the mini clip had been used as a fix, but I had never had a problem. It was just something they did since they had my machine for the other problem.

In any other year or time when materials, supply chains, etc. were not a problem, I’d say yes SM you are correct. I also see if you have to send your machine to service, this can be repaired. Meanwhile, I appreciate Bernina Jeff for his marketing genius and this item. Works like a dream. My husband watches Bernina Jeff and helps me out. Love the man to man good connections! Thank you, Jeff.

I really like that guide. I can’t say that I’ve witnessed myself the thread coming out of the pretensioner. i have heard of this complaint though.

Will this help with the jump back on the spool of thread after a thread cut. I am forever having to retread my needles after I use the thread cutter. Drives me crazy.

Same here. I'm wondering if the cutting blade is getting dull and is stretching the thread as it cuts it ? More or less stopped using the thread cutter for that reason.

I just tried to install this thread guide on the back of my 765. There is no way the screw is long enough to go back in after putting the screw through the thread guide. Is anyone else have this problem?

I received my thread guide yesterday and sewed many hours then and today...without any problems. No thread issues. The first time I've sewed this much on my B790 Plus without wanting to sell my machine.

@@imlepley1 Some one suggested to putting a pierced earing back on the end of the clip. Works great.

Same problem. The local dealer didn’t find a problem. I’m going to try the pierced earing back! 😀
