I use the Brook convertor for the Dreamcast all the time, it works great. I use DS4 controllers for the Dreamcast. The Brook adaptor includes a VMU in its dongle so that I can save games. This convertor allows for the DS4's rumble motors to react the same way a Dreamcast TremorPak does.

I am so exited to buy one of these, I just bought a series X and grew up with Xbox controllers when I used to use my dads Xbox when I was younger, when I got myself a ps4 I absolutely loved the controller and have always since liked the PlayStation controller better so this is going to be a so great

if that Brook Xb converter works well for other controllers then lets take that a step further and include Original Xbox controllers (just get a Xbox to USB adapter and it should work fine)

"8:25" You have to press the Xbox/Home button to change the Digital & Analog mode. Then you choose to turn the VR control on or off.

I have the Brook PS2 Supe Converter and absolutely love it. With the latest firmware update, I use it to connect the PS5 controller to the PS2, and it is amazing. Being able to use a wireless controller makes it so much more convenient, but the rumble/haptic feedback on the PS5 controller also works. It's essentially just converting the PS2's rumble signal to the PS5 controller's haptic feedback very literally, but even then there's a more nuanced vibration to the PS5 controller. I also find the sticks to just be better on the PS5 controller, as they're mostly smoother in regards to turning and especially aiming in FPS games. I'm actually planning on buying the Brook Wingman XE, because as much as I like the PS4 controller, I prefer the PS5 controller for the many reasons listed above, the fact that it fits my hands better, and it's USB Type C which is more convenient.

@@jonficco3691 As far as I'm aware these adapters are strictly for connecting controllers. Any headset would have to be connected separately. The adapters doesn't carry any audio, nor does it allow any audio to play through the controllers' headphone jack. Best solution would be use either a USB DAC or at the very least an Optical audio to 3.5mm converter.

I've only ever used the brook pcb's to make fightsticks. However the quality seems on oar with those and stuff like ps3 controllers are becoming harder to find.

Great video, but I have one quick question. I want to buy the Brook Wingman XB, but I just want to make sure if I can use Xbox One or Xbox Series controllers wirelessly on Xbox 360 and Xbox Original consoles. On Amazon the back of the box it states that it works with those controllers wired only, but in your video the back of the box looks newer and shows wireless support. In your video I see Xbox One controller playing on Xbox 360 wirelessly (3:09). To make things more confusing StoneAgeGamer states that a firmware update on the controllers no longer allow for wireless play with this adapter. Have you tested this wirelessly with an Xbox Series controller?

In the game GOW Chains of Olympus the analog QTEs will not work properly with a knock off controller. And according to Reddit, If you use a PS5 controller by playing the game on PS now they still don't work. It seems we'll only work with an authentic PS3 controller. If I buy this adapter do you think it will fix the issue?

Get the Brook Wingman XE2 black & blue colored adapter for the ps3 console, it's the best. The pink colored one is Brook Wingman XE it will also work on ps3 console.

So I have DDR pads for the original Xbox. It has 3 adapters Xbox/usb/ps2 or 1. Anyhoo I plugged this into the brook converter and nothing happened on my Xbox 360. You can’t get quality ddr pads anymore so I really want to find a way to get these to work on the 360 since they have other great ddr games like the original. So I just bought a 20th anniversary edition Xbox controller and yet it won't sync on my Xbox 360...it will work wired but no blue tooth, as well as my og Xbox one controllers, works wired but won't otherwise..it's works via Bluetooth with my switch pro, which I hooked up first but had major lag..what am I doing wrong? Ohhh I'd really enjoy a few of these. You're right that Logitech pad was amazing. In lockdown I got into repairing controllers and repaired a bunch of PS1, PS2 controllers. The only thing I can't do is soldering and fixing general wear around the sticks. I find it quite fufilling to open things up and fix them, a little bit of TLC :D These adapters are a great addition though!

I have the Brook PS1/2 converter to use a PS3 Sixaxis pad on my Ps2, it's a great wireless set up 👍. I hope one day Brook can do a OG Xbox Converter to use 360/One controler. The Open Source OGx360 is good but you need a good 360 Wireless hub for PC to use it well, I use a 3rd party one and I've got Disconnection on many occasion. I Remember to be with you live when you try them, that was a good moment 😁.

I also have just like 3 working PS2 controllers, however I did manage to find a Logitech wireless PS2 controller but these devices are very useful especially with Xbox Controllers cuz they seem to have a ton of stick drift. Same with PS4 controllers. I have so many controllers its ridiculous so these devices will help me preserve controller life. Thanks for the info and do u own Def Jam Fight for NY? I can't get this converter to work on my PS2 Slim with my PS3 controller. The fixes I have read online involving using the USB to power the converter on the slim is not working. Switching it to XID mode as suggested on Amazon is also not working. I think this device may only be compatible w/ the fat PS2, regardless of what people say.
