I was at this show! I was the one who was on the little paint mare (13hh) who was right after you and Eton in cross country and stadium. I gave you the time penalty for cross country. I knew that was you but I was too shy to say anything about that!

Would you ever do a video about how you condition your horses for cross country and such? It’s so cool how they can just run and run and run
@jonlloyd45924 жыл бұрын
I noticed that too -- it seemed harder to get Wy to stop running than it was to get him to gallop. Lot's of energy.

I would love to know as well! I heard of interval training in canter.
@heymoma7004 жыл бұрын
Like 2x 2 minutes 1x 3 minutes 1x 4 minutes of canter. And the last 2 minutes you go a bit faster.. but that was en eventing tip from a “novice” rider so I’d like to see what a pro rider says 💪🏼

I just love Wy and all your horses. They are in such amazing condition. Watching Wy go in the practice area, he just eats up the ground. And then does the course, and he isn't even breathing hard. Amazing job -- all of you ;)

why was the steward questioning you about two horses? I used to help run dog agility shows with the same handler for multiple dogs, and they were still separate competitors to us.
@meganproffitt4243 жыл бұрын
Late response, but at the rated USEA level multiple horses is common (especially at the upper levels). This being a schooling show, most riders aren’t seasonal riders doing as many shows as they can. They just do what they can afford thus can usually only have one horse anyway, so having multiple horses entered at this level is a tad unusual, but yes, multiple horses is seen as multiple entries.
